I have an agent now for all external commissions

For commissions. It's gotten out of hand in a few cases. Once you fill out the form http://www.tinyurl.com/bcscommission/ you need to email Kingachairs@gmail.com for followup so my roster doesn't get crazy.

You can drop the sir bit BCS. im not saying i disagree with the agent bit nor the BS you've had to deal with. iv had my shear and i all so know you have a low opinion of non artists or in you case fans. your comment to BearPatrol's clubstrips journal makes that all to clear but hay every ones entitled to their own opinion. im just a lot better at Keeping my negative comments to myself and not out to point a finger at people.

but you can do what you want and rightly so don't have to do jack s#$% for any one and not being one of your friends im not gonna waste my time or yours unless im looking to commission you. ^^_

You do know I have several roles on my team that are just totally normal people because they're quick, they're smart and willing to proofread stuff quickly? But you know what, I am not even defending myself to your facetious arguments. I'm under a lot of pressure right now and I think asking for a little understanding isn't a huge deal.

She doesn't hate fans, she just doesn't want to be constrained by them. The best thing any artist can do is draw for themselves, not draw to please others. It allows for the greatest amount of creative growth. Having fans should be a side effect of that.

I'm not an artist but I get along with BCS just fine, probably because I don't treat her as some art making machine but instead, you know, as an actual person. But the fact is, commissioners can be difficult to deal with, I think that goes without saying. Having an agent is an appropriate way of dealing with that.

It doesn't change anything, it's just going to keep me a little calmer :). That way if I flub it, COMPLETELY forget a commission, my agent will smooth things out and keep it from getting personal so my friends can stay friends, yes?

He's not some bigshot, he's just a friend I'm giving a cut to of each handled commission for the trouble.
