Hidden Upload In Process

So I've gone through my FA gallery and grabbed the toppish 40% to post over to Inkbunny. That still means over 200 images, though, and I'm certain everyone watching me now has me watched on FA, so uploads wont be showing up in your notices save for a few exceptions.

I expect to be done shortly after 2011!

Heh! I'm already making progress on nearly 100 uploads... the Bulk Uploader means they're already on Inkbunny, but the bulk of them haven't gotten titles or descriptions yet.

The first batch I'll unhide will be all my own work--which is to say, stories. I will be able to disable notification for the unhiding of commissions I've gotten from REAL artists like you (except that I don't think I have a commission actually FROM you yet) and unlike me... so I'll instead post a journal so interested parties can browse my gallery for themselves instead of getting New Submissions spam.

That's what I've done. I uploaded a buttload of images and am, as I get around to it, descing them and quietly making them public. I made the mistake of doing a flood of notifications on the first dozen or so, but I'm just notifying folks when I finish with my more favorite ones at this point.

I just wish that, when you put a submission in a specific pool ( or set of pools) that it wouldn't show up in your general gallery. That messes with that psycho little organizational demon in my head.

I actually like Pooled pictures showing up in the general gallery.

Of course, I plan on putting everything that doesn't fit into a Pool into their -own- pool called "Misc". Because I occasionally OCD out like that.

Mind, I probably wont get finished with this all for months yet.

I'd say I'd ask Starling if we could have the option to have the images not show up in your general gallery once they're pooled, but I'm afraid he'd shoot me, and no judge in the land would convict him.

I've already asked for a ka-jillion things from him and he's managed to come through on every single one of them, with one exception, and that's on the 'to do' list for inclusion in an upcoming code update. (ability to have the desc above a story submission like a foreword, as opposed to below it, like an afterword)

The guy is like, fucking amazing.

It's already on the list, as an option! A few other people have suggested it, most notably for sketches and/or commissioned work.

And I agree - our job as mods is to make sure Starling isn't hassled. :-D

I do! I have a journal over on FA asking for advice on what pieces people want to see for sale. Once I have stuff uploaded, I'll start hunting for the hirez scans I have.

Ahh, I can't find the option to turn off notifications for un-hiding a piece that's already gone in by bulk upload. Could you point me in the right direction?

Open up the picture. In the upper left in orange text is "this is current hidden, unhide it?"
