I got another 3g (Actually 4g LTE, woot!) modem working so I can stay in better touch. The only catch is, 90% of them are on skype and the chats move at hundreds of messages per hour. Electricity/bandwidth retrictions are limited to less than that. Plus, it's a major bonus if the program can make my phone perform an audible signal or a pop up or something. (It's android 4.2.2) I already have Steam and Pinger (it used to be called TextFree), so if you have me on those then you have the most of my availability. Which still isn't a LOT. I don't have the kind of job where I can sit around on the phone. Even if the place is dead, if I'm not running around breaking a sweat, management sends me home. Are there any epic chat platforms I should be aware of? Preferably ones that don't give a damn about Facebook/Twitter/Myspace/whatever... The whole "Link all of your accounts to your personal information so everyone knows every implicit detail of your life" thing irks me. x3
