Global Warming short question

Seriously, are there anybody in my watch list that thinks it's a hoax? or that "Climate Change" did not precede teh use of "Global Warming" etc? That Gore ruinned your abilityh to learn the real science? etc. etc.

 Just wondering.

While Climate Change is a science.  The current state of the atmosphere is till being studied.  The Hysteria that is "global warming" is mostly politically based.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QY5iUwf_FkE Is a good example of a scientific mind set on the subject...  That being said... Company's have far to much power on what they put in our air.

I believe that there are effects, that changes have been happening for a long time, that the process has sped up even within our lifetimes, but I also see people pointing at weather phenomenon that comes in regular cycles of five to seven years and freaking out. There have been some major weather anomalies, but things like snow in early spring, even a big storm in New England is a normal thing and has been documented for over 100 years.

People thought I was nuts when I said there might be SOME merit to the idea of climate change while I was in the military, and now people think I'm nuts when I try pointing out the normal elements in the weather, even if there's a fluke attached, which I also point out.

I'm tired of all the Chicken Little BS people keep screaming instead of looking at what they do, what the world does, and what the weather is REALLY doing. Been able to sniff out the weather since I was a kid, and I can feel it pretty well with some of my injuries, and I've actually watched since I was a kid too, but nobody wants to listen to me when I tell them to chill out and think for themselves.

Because of all that, yes, I think on the level of the layman, the true scientific process is dying. Yup, can hear rational thought circling the drain a little faster every time someone whispers in a hushed tone or screams about "how 'odd' this rain is on what would otherwise be a lovely day." I've actually heard things like that said quite often. *The sound of a sad headshake can be applied here*

Yeah seriously, whenever you start pointing out actual details and things, it's always how they don't "feel" that's a big enough effect to worry about or the change in climate doesn't "feel" significant enough to cause said change...  Never actually demonstrate anything evidence based, just denial in the truest sense. Very frustrating at times.

"Tonight on the late night 'CNN/MSNBC/Fox news' we interview an unpopular climatologist that we won't say the rest of the community shuns, because of crackpot ideas that are 100% untested and not based on observation at all, so you think what they're saying has merit! They're still an expert though! So listen! LISTEN!!! THE END TIME ARE HERE!!!!!!!!!"

Glad that scenario doesn't hit the airwaves as much these days.

Yeah, I hate it when the news does that. Takes someone from the 3-5%, the ones that barely even publish anything and interviews them, they share their 'feelings' instead of anything scientific data and are treated as an equal possibility. It's like "Creation Science"
