It seems the notes, emails, PMs, comments, and other things piled up, especially while I didn't have email... if you have a commission with me, note that I'm working both on a new cartoon called AMi: Thought Bubbles and a Greek Mythology artbook (70% voted for! WOOHOO!) and I'm utterly swamped with other commitments so they end up being squeezed into whatever free time I can manage.
I have a lot of stuff to do and scan... sales at FWA were ridiculously small, at least for me and what I usually bring in. I made about $200 via commissions and $200 in profit, and I spent around another $50 on stuff for myself while there (Last Unicorn comic, IDW MLP comics 1+2, The Confectionaries) If TJA wasn't footing the bill, I would have made no profit and they only had, like, 2 sales while there. Ouch.

They were right across from my table in a large box, carried by LegionPress! I only spent $5 for an original #1, and $4 for a #2. Not bad.
Well, I'll be bringing my Midna mousepads to AC, like Keychains, they move pretty well. I will also likely be trying to snag a place to make me some custom T-shirts too but it totally depends on my Offbeatr!
The Offbeatr pays for the artbook BUT it also frees me up from trying to personally shoulder that cost only on the money I make through commissions plus my disability benefits from bipolar... aka that thing that fucks up my sleep schedule and consistently nice social interaction so I can't hold down a dayjob none too well, especially if it's way below my creativity level, it just stupifies me.
Huhu, after my project successes, they will determine the course of my year. I will probably be aiming to get enough funds for my own scooter and applying for local jobs again if it's shortlived. I wrote kind of an abstracted essay about success on Twitter but it boils down to: try to be honest and stick to your principles and be prepared to work for it constantly, it's never easy.

Hmm, I know how that is! I have exactly $25.62 in my bank account and bringing my luggage home was $25 which will leave me with $0.62 after that clears. I wasn't kidding when I said money was tight!
