Status Update

Figure I should put something else to the top of my journals than the ad for my blog.

Essentially I've been pretty busy lately and haven't had a lot of time for art, simply for reasons of school. Hopefully that should end once I turn in my papers on Monday. I've been working a little on commissions, but overall, I just really haven't had time for art.

But part of our class was to go to Nara, so I did get a little bit of relaxing in. (If you count walking around all day relaxation!) It was fun though, and I was able to pet a lot of deer and see a giant Buddha.

That's about all I've got, how about you?

Been learning 3D animation, it is a huge pain to get used to.

and take your time with your art, you never want to rush it.

I'm still trying to learn just 3d modeling. Animation seems like it would still be a ways off for me! Keep it up though, and thanks!

3D modeling is fun once you get used to it, depending on the program you're using. There are a lot of tutorials around on the net as well, animation is a whole nother ball game and is the evilest thing I've ever had to try and learn ;w;

Sorry for the late reply, but yeah, it's quite a bit of work. I've been thinking of getting into low-poly modeling to get started, but...I have yet to, well, start. XD

It's fine -w- and that sounds like a good plan, it's where I started and it helps you get used to basic anatomy and basic animations when you start them.
