Replacing the other journal~

Welp, going for awhile.
I was here for some sales and posting stuff FA might not allow,
not here for BS and popularity contests.
I'll still make an occasional comment or fave, but probably not working on much of anything new to post specifically here for awhile, hard to anyway - this was a team effort and I can't easily do this all myself.
This will at least give me time to work on catching up with commissions and other things I can't put off much longer.
Frankly I feel art and just being online is such a massive waste of life, keeps taking my time and energy and I get practically nothing out of all the misery.
Faves don't pay the bills or put food on the table =/

No faves don't pay bills or give you food, I don't know anyone who would ever get caught up in something like that. I probally spend a casual hour a day spaced out over the day on the internet, and even then I don't pay any mind to any drama or problems, I just say whatever and ignore it.

I was going to post this journal even if that bawletion didn't happen, but it didn't help.
Can't sell any art so hanging around here is costing me money.
Plus I've had nothing but bad news and disappointments in the last few years, so I really need to ditch obligations that aren't going anywhere.

Not sure how "hanging around here" costs you money. It aint costing me anything. Sure you put effort into making the account, but even if you do nothing it aint costing you, if anything its dismantling is much more bothersome.

Drawings take me days, awhile ago started on several pics I planned to sale here, time I could use to do odd jobs for cash.
Stress slows me down, had better luck with commissions on FA.

I'm just going to back away from this place for awhile in hopes that it'll get back to the point it was made for, sales and any furry stuff- too much cub is turning people off.

I think the answer is to have a day job to pay the bills, and then do furry art as a leisure activity during your time off.

World doesn't work like that anymore.
Well paying jobs are basically dead unless people are rich to begin with.
Getting to the point people cant even maintain bills even if they work all their waking time, my case I only have shitty misc jobs available (art would've been an ok shore up), so the only answer is to keep making cuts, even into necessities.

Gotta have your priorities straight. And you gotta do art stuff for the right reasons, otherwise it becomes a chore (like it has for you apparently). Hope things get better for you. Peace.

good luck with everything, i agree the internet has a habit of of making people miserable from time to time...art is something to do on your free time and enjoy...sadly its hard to make a job out of it,plus most artist want to draw and make what they want to..they lose motivation when given request they dont feel like doing (least thats what my commercial art teacher told me) anyways...gonna miss you and hope all goes well for you, for what its worth you were my favorite artist ^^

I just hope you're fine, young man, and have good luck on your new way. You deserve second chances elsewhere. I also hope IB really evolves into what it was right at the beginning (yeah, I also have my doubts about moving elsewhere)

Well maybe one day once the sales system gets back online, hopefully you can come back. I honestly love your cute and chibi styles, they are one of my favorites. While art may seem like such a waist, and in some ways it is, it adds flair to our gray lives. while art holds little productive value, they are very pleasing to look at, and talk about. I understand If you must postpone your talent to help pay for things.
