Dear Sony

When the PS3 was launched, I was enthralled by how perfect it was.  Perfect backwards compatibility, new format media player, new integrated tech, programmed to be a computer and media manager from the start with multiple codecs for videos and drivers for mice, keyboards, printers, and even a specialized remote.  And if ever there could have been something lacking, it came linux ready for FULL PC usage making it the perfect all in one system...

So why have you tried your damnedest to remove everything that makes it great?  And why WHY will you not add support for MKV, the most advanced and versatile movie container file?

Because you're a pirate. All consumers are thieving pirates trying to steal money from Sony.

Ah...  Lost potential profits, I touched on that in my last post about the failure of companies to provide the user with a buy-once-own-forever option for digital media...  It seems these days, anything that was once considered sound logic and investment is considered piracy in the eyes of the too-damn-rich.
