Birthdays are suppose to be at least somewhat enjoyable right? I mean today has been one of the saddest days of this year. not bad just sad if that makes sense. maybe it is me, but still I just no matter who I was with or what I was doing today i just felt sad. Sorry if I am venting a bit but still.

i understand what you mean. every year on my b-day is lonely but last year was the worst for me. my gf didn't log on for my b-day and said she was making pictures for me as well but she never did it after i got all happy believing that birthday was gong to be different. i was wrong and i'm not looking forward for this year too.

I feel you on this one.

Every birthday of mine, i wake up and look back on everything i've done in my life.
By the end of the day, i'm pretty miserable.

Happy birthday!

The reason birthdays become sad is that we fill them with the expecations that were ingrained within us since an early age. We expect sooooo much but as we get older the celebration pales and grows smaller till... where's the party? If you want happiness kiss method is best... keep it simple. Take joy in the small things. You're alive! You have friends and fans! You're not alone! Enjoy your blueberry cheesecake! :)
