Odd-Colored Flesh

Just my own opinion (I do that a lot in my journal, don't I?). I find odd-colored flesh repulsive. Blue, green, purple, orange, etc. It seems like more than half the furry world is suddenly like "YAY! I've got a blue cock and nose! I'm so original!" You're so original, just like everyone else.

Want true originality? Stick with normal-colored body parts. NO ONE does that anymore.

I'd state my opinion but a lot of my characters have odd-colored flesh. XD Though it's not really trying to be unique, it just fits with the color pallete. Also nothing is really original anymore. X.x It's all been done before somewhere.

I'm the opposite: I find oddly-colored flesh kind of arousing. Not all colors, mind you, but some of them definitely get my goat. It's not because it's original, it's because it's different. I think it's kind of the same thing as "yellow fever." I have no illusions that it's original, only that I like it. :3

I blame sonic and MLP(not hating) for 'Original Characters' when they are basically the same as the main cast but with new paint.

sadly its not going to happen. I try to make my fursona as original as possible. I like being an induvidual. But most people want to be part of a group and in with the popular crowd. so they do what everyone else does. Its group psychology

You know, I could say the same thing about cock size. Seems like most furries think it's a requirement or something, heh. But to each their own. This is fantasy, not real life, let people enjoy what they enjoy. =3

For that, I've always preferred "normal." Those that would require low-gavity or a counterbalance as well as a blood transfusion to get erect are a bit much.

Agreed. I don't mind any size, I just prefer variety but commonly get 'well endowed' furries. Makes me wonder if most furries feel inferior in the size department IRL because I sometimes wonder if they're trying to make up for something.. but then again we're mostly talking about porn here too. [shrugs]

To be honest, I didn't do it out of originality, but instead because silver and blue both represent me, and are my favorite colors. I mean, in truth, originality is extremely hard. Even with the odd colorings, you're bound to find one or two that are a lot like yourself. I try not to generalize and pick and choose at it. I just enjoy a 'sona for what it is.

After all, can't please everyone. Someone's gonna love you for being different, and equally, someone's gonna hate you for it. just how things go.

Sadly, even my fantasies seem to be too harshly grounded in reality for me to enjoy things a lot of others do. I wish sometimes Icould look at a pic of a character with a neon <insert odd color> cock and enjoy the pic for the OTHER aspects. Unfortunately, my brain focuses on one point then and refuses to allow me to enjoy it. Luckily when it was decided my character needed some color Iwent with just a blue collar.

Ouch. I still got that kidish energetic side to m y personality that allows me to just enjoy most things. I just try to lock the reality base outta my head. To me, that's kinda small stuff I can't let bug me. Just like I wouldn't be able to let cock tongues, herms with no balls, hyper dicks, and sweating furries bug me. I dunno what it is. It's hard to...bug me about those things.

But at hte same time, I can absolutely see how this bugs you and those things I mentioned b other other people. There's willing suspension of disbelief, and for every person, it is different. Oddly-colored cocks can definitely be among those things. Irony for me, I enjoy ones that either contrast a character's fur/scales/feathers or whatever, or just ebony ones. Why? I have no idea.

But I also, at the same time like things odd or exotic. I'm also rambling.

The blue collar is a nice touch though, it's a great contrast with the yellowness of the fur.
