There's a rather...furry...mural in downtown Eureka, at the Courthouse Market, across the Eureka Municipal Courthouse & County Jail, called "Animals Are People, Too" by artist Duane Flatmo.
I've wanted to take a picture of it, but I either had (a) a bad cell-phone camera, or (b) not the opportunity to pull out the Nikon... I'm glad someone beat me to it. :) That way I can finally share this work... :)
Flatmo also does the posters for the Redwood Coast Dixieland Jazz Festival and Blues By The Bay (both music festivals held here in Eureka), usually with a distinctly furry theme.
He also did the largest mural in northern California, a massive 70x70ft. mural on the back side of the Arkley Center for the Performing Arts (the former State Theater building), also in downtown Eureka.

As a fan of both blues and Dixieland jazz, I'd love to see those. To Google image search!
Edit: Lots of stuff, not much furry that I can find. He did do this cool image for Lost Coast Brewing though, and a tasty beer it is. Apparently, this was removed after threats from fundamentalist Hindus. https://lh3.ggpht.com/_HRiGgliTOzc/Smd6ICSMFWI/AAAAAAAA...

He does all the Lost Coast labels... It's safe to say he's the most prominent (and prolific!) living artist in Humboldt County (since Hobart Brown passed away, a few years ago).
