Okay, so here's the scoop on streams. I'm gonna do them on the weekends, hopefully two at a time. I'll probably only have one day to do so, and thus, it'll be a lot more slow-going than it was before. Now, people who've been on my waiting list forever deserve their shake by now, so they're taking priority. But just so it doesn't turn into everyone feeling it's inaccessible, I've come up with another gimmick for it: I'll be doing one from the old list, and randomly selecting somebody from the new list to have a turn as well. Here's the Master List; it'll get updated as stuff happens, and you can always refer back to it to find out what I'm up to. This does mean that should you want a spot on the list, you will have to tell me what you want ahead of time? Good? Cool.
In also-furry-related news, I've been noticing a good number of people here either sharing a profile or jumping ship to Weasyl. For all of an hour at a time, I've considered going myself, but... ugggh. Three things.
1. Having two accounts to upload and tend to is just tiring. Back when I was younger, doing DeviantArt and FA, or FA and IB was fine, but... I just don't know. It feels like I'd be serving two masters, or really underserving one. 2. They don't allow underage characters. They are up front about it, and thus far I haven't heard anything bad about the moderation per se, but I still just see myself probably being in the center of conflict again. Weasyl seems to increasingly be a place for people who hate cub art just a little bit more than they hate Dragoneer- and that crowd wasn't particularly scintillating to me the first time. 3. I really don't think there's a demand for me over there. At least not yet, anyway, and for being "The Cub Site," Inkbunny has been incredibly receptive to me. For admitting to being an alternative for a different demographic, I really can't complain about them humbly giving me webspace and a consistent place in the Popular section (though that does me feel a bit self-conscious). And I do find it ironic that the place that's meant for cubs has been nicer to me than the place meant for everything else, despite so little of what I do being noticeably underage.
So yeah. I mean, I guess maybe Weasyl isn't completely and totally out of the question, but I've got a lot of grump to get over before I'd want to take part.
