a new game to look forward to!

i dont normally fanboy about things, but this looks like it's worth keeping an eye on.

Bungie, the makers of marathon, Oni, and, oh yeah, maybe you heard of it- Halo. - are making a whole new game, and likely franchise. it takes place in the same century as Marathon: the 2700's

its name: Destiny.

the vibes i am getting from it is the bungie touch applied to a game with a story similar to phantasy star zero, with flavors of other more modern games, multiplayer co op that might be similar to borderlands, with an involved story that might be a prequel to Marathon by the time the player has figured everything out.

this time, no console exclusive parent companies. it looks like it will probably hit multiple platforms.

edit: wow. it didnt take them long to cover the local gamestop with ads for this one. its probably not coming out for another year or more but they're already accepting preorders.

Didn't care until I read this. X3

I know there are a lot of Halo fans, but I didn't think Halo really held up vs the competition to be honest. But that's what happens when you come out on PC where FPS games were born.
