Open Letter to Kavi

is safe! There's been a shout and an upload made, and I've updated my big journal.

Kavi, listen to me. Stop playing this game and just own up to the situation. You lied. You've been caught. And you're just contradicting yourself as you keep lying to try to get out of it.

Let's start with the basics. Allow me to quote from the e-mail you sent to Shokuji, as he's published it: "By the way, shokuji, have you ever heard or seen one text that had a lie from me? As a person, I have been taught to never lie. Whipped, beaten, degraded, all to teach the lesson that it is wrong to lie, and better to be the truth."

Okay, so you claimed innocence and said you've never lied to Shokuji. By itself, that's fair. But wait, let's continue down four paragraphs: "I may have been lying about living in the Yamanashi prefecture, but that was, how you might assume, out of fear? While I may save face, I am very paranoid about revealing where I may live in a country."

So, you are and have already lied to Shokuji. And you admitted it eight sentences after making a big show about how honest a person you are. Nice.

Given that Tokyo is one of the largest cities in the world, and almost all of Tokyo Prefecture is essentially the urban sprawl of the city itself, lying about living in Yamanashi when you supposedly actually lived in Mizuho, Nishitama District, Tokyo instead is pointless.

Let's see what else you might have been lying about. Your Facebook page (screenshot) claims you work for Michael Bay on Transformers. Additionally, these three Facebook status and photo updates (screenshot) claim you work on the set for Transformers -- despite saying elsewhere that you do CG from home. ...CG artists don't belong on the set, because they have nothing to do on the set.

Oh, wait! http://www.formspring.me/Kavities/q/172802301541521403 -- Nope, that's a lie as well. And you've since deleted the Formspring question where you confirm in plain English that yes, indeed, you've been lying all along about your involvement in Transformers, and that you did that just to impress your Facebook friends.

For someone who never lies, you've been at it for quite some time. You even went to the trouble of photoshopping this photo from October 13, 2010, that DeviantArt user Letohatchee took on the set of TF3.

Let's talk about your age for a moment.

I could keep going. There is other evidence out there that suggests that your story about living in Ohio and Yamana...I mean Tokyo Prefecture six months at a time is also completely false, but I think I've established that your words are quite unreliable lately.

First of all, you clearly have no idea how 4chan works. If someone from 4chan were to decide to hack your Facebook page (and then, you know, every other active account that you have), they wouldn't:
a) announce they're from 4chan
b) protect your innocence by claiming responsibility for lying and scamming
c) run a week-long scam and funnel money directly to themselves
d) operate in secret where NOBODY in the furry fandom would be capable of finding any traces of evidence of what happened

What they would do:
a) post a lot of gay porn and unpleasant images to your wall
b) say plenty of racist, hurtful things to your friends
c) change as much personal information as possible and change your passwords and secret questions and answers in an effort to make it as difficult as they can for you to recover your account
d) blame it on some other website (ebaumsworld.com is a favourite)

Plus, your typing and communication is essentially exactly the same before, during, and after the alleged hack that took control of all your accounts.

Now you're claiming complete ignorance and innocence because you were supposedly hacked by The Internets, and also trying to play the medical patient card by claiming, out of nowhere, that you mis-dosed yourself with an ADHD medication--and I don't even see the point of this at all. Claiming you have ADHD and take medication for it and you had dose problems at the same time as you were being hacked in an unusual way is simply playing the sympathy card in a desperate attempt to override logic.

I don't believe it one bit. I don't believe anything you say, and I know I'm not alone. If you keep this up, you will find yourself completely unwelcome from the furry fandom, because lying more will not fix the problem.

For your own sake, Arrianna, come clean and tell the truth. Tell the real story. I signed up with SoFurry just so that I could give you the opportunity to respond to this. Please tell the truth so you can salvage what little remains of your reputation. You've dug yourself a giant hole, and there are major consequences you will have to face, but you can either come clean, or you can just make it worse.

I don't really agree with Maverick. I've seen 10 or so journals about this chick. Bitch Lied. She got money. Furries got money back. She is cast out of fandom. End-o-story. You've put more work into re-iterating why she is a hack than what looks healthy.

People of the world are scamers. Meer hours after the disaster hit fake donation sites were up. This is far from the most complex method for doing it too. So she was stupid and got caught... yay, get the money back and move on... you've proven your point... or well, I think lulz.net figured out most of it.

She's got her rabid supporters who truly believe in her and wish all those nasty trolls will go away, and they're supporting her because nobody has delivered the other side of the story in a coherent, calm, non-trolling matter. And if she has supporters willing to give her plenty of asspats, she has every incentive to try and sneak back into the fandom under a different name. And this is a known phenomenon. She's even personally done it as well; Sho found that she'd been banned from a forum for rule-breaking and then tried to re-register (from the same IP) almost immediately after.

I also may have supplied lulz with a bunch of information.

Nothing, really, except that she's too incompetent at this "lying" thing to stay hidden long enough to avoid detection and instant exposure as her new account. But instead of just trolling her senseless, I thought I'd give her a fair chance.

There are some things one simply does not do. Building one's ego on the misery of others is one of those things. The world is always watching, and she, through this, can only cause herself further harm. For her sake, I hope she learns something from this, or she'll just end up destroying herself more completely than she already has.

I would enjoy being surprised, I would enjoy seeing her, without a passive-aggressive or cry-pity-me tone, say that she was laying. She was being a scam artist, that she beleaved she could get away with it. That she is a little bad, and did not think she would hurt so many people. Become responsible for her actions and ask what she could do, if anything, earn the trust of some of her friends.

However I do not think such an action will happen. (Again, I really does hope she will prove me wrong.)

Do watch for her giving a passive-aggressive/pity-me sorry speech, disappearing from the internet for 1-12 months, and returning under a different banner.

We'll have to wait until morning, because it's a school night and it's very very late out in Ohio. I'm genuinely interested in seeing her response, however, in the off-chance that she actually gets a clue. Sometimes, trolling isn't the best option.

I don't like liars, but falsely claiming to be a victim of a real disaster to steal donations is as sick as it gets. As upset as I am, I ask these two questions: in a community where honor/reputation is the highest value, why would a person risk this, and more so, how could a person so connected to the same community they would rob think they could get away with it?

I have been hearing that the police are looking into what Kavi has done but can't find any concrete evidence. Can you verify that info?

I'm not aware that the police have been contacted, but various people have made baseless legal threats based on being certified expert Internet lawyers (as people tend to do when they're angry), so it's possible.
