I was always better at writing my thoughts than actually saying them. There's certainly a huge convenience in taking time to structure and verify your ideas to their idealized form before they're subject to the world's judgement. I've said a lot of things throughout my life that I regret, all because I was put on the spot...or perhaps in the wrong mood.

Just some random Valentine's Day thoughts. Stupid holiday.

(The other day I looked up what Valentine was actually all about because I didn't know. Secret marriages in ancient rome. For christians. And Valentinus was the priest. I didn't know this, not sure if it matters. Associations with romantic love came later, before that it was all about court marriages, that sort of thing.)

But anyway, yeah, I think it's ... well, a bit pointless. Like we needed an excuse to say I love you. It sorta invites awkward moments.

Tuke, I wish you success and a good chance to express yourself better than when I get there ... I'm so -fail- at that point. XD

Also agreed.

I happen to be the same. I have to sleep on things before making any important decisions, and process; otherwise bad things happen.

There's more certainty, more opportunity for clarity and being able to put an idea forward without it being interrupted is wonderful too ^.^ when I think things out before writing I sound much more intelligent then when I speak :)

Valentines day sucks :/
