Ok, so I have my Valentine's Day story coming up soon. The winner has been completely unresponsive, so I'm kind of feeling my way around in the dark with her character, trying to be true to her ideas, but getting next to no help. Let's just day this pisses me off. That being said, I don't have high hopes for this story, but I'm using it as a springboard to set the stage for something else that I'm very excited about.
My main story arc, chapter 5, is about 80% done, and will also be setting up something that has me pumped.
With these 2 events, I'll be writing several 1k-ish word stories over the next few months, leading up to something big. The reasons for them being such short stories is two-fold: one relationship will be young and innocent, the other will be dark and emotional, neither ready to jump into the realm of sex. I'll just be setting things up for later. The other reason is LIFE IS KICKING MY ASS. Seriously, a full-time job, 17 credit hours at school, and a neglected family are all vying for my attention. Things are stressful, but writing helps.
Now, aside from chapter 5, Valentine's Day, and a half-dozen or so micro-stories, don't expect much from me until May, when school wraps up, and I graduate.
Now, once school wraps up, I'll be hard at work, crafting something truly epic. It will be a long, multi-part labor of love, and to eliminate the anticipation for the next chapter, all chapters are going to get published simultaneously. The literary scape of inkbunny will be rocked to its core. This isn't a pat on the back or delusions of grandeur. I won't say more than that, but upon it's publication, you will not be disappointed.
Once that large-scale undertaking is complete, I'll work on chapter 6. Details are hush, but again, big things in the works with that.
Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and support. I know it sounds cliche and cheesy, but with my crazy life, you guys are helping me get through it all. I appreciate it, and love you all for it. Thank you.
