Going to start Coloring, Digitally!

Yes. Its high time I took an occasional breather from game playing and game designing, and got to actually coloring again. Its what triggered me to get sketching and drawing back on FA a few years back, so I'm hoping it'll have the same effect. Besides, I'll need to shake the rust off my digital coloring if I'm going to start designing cards and play pieces for my games, right?

What does this mean? Well, offer me your sketches. Your links, you scraps, your line art. I'll take a stab at them eventually and get back to you. This is all done FREE OF CHARGE because I'm UNCERTAIN OF THE TIME YOU'LL RECEIVE IT BACK COLORED. If at all. ^^;

Though, its worth a shot, right? Who knows!? If it works and I get inspired to art again, I'll be doing even more of them. :D

Also, if you know of someone who is doing tutorials for GIMP 2, SAI, or Open Canvas, link those as well. Have some yourself? Got pointers for these programs? Feel free to drop some knowledge on me, no matter how painful. If it gets me arting, its worth it. :D

2 THings awesome aobut paintsai you should know about and a sucky one:
1- to the top right you got a stabiliser option that kind of give a deay on your line, meaning you can make muchm ore controlled cureves that way.
2- you can rotate the work area, kind ofl ike when you turn a paper around to do better lines under a certain angle

The sucky thing would be it save jpg for crap, i advice you to save your work files as psd and open them into photoshop and save them into jpg from there since it will offert you al lthe options you need, size,compressions,etc

Compression always messed up my old digital works. I had a program that would always compress the hell out of them, regardless of the setting you set it on. So all those fine lines would get 8bit syndrome with crazy colors. I never knew a black line compressed would turn out lime green boxes on some corners. :/

I'll certainly do that. I have both programs and want my images to come out nice. :D Thanks.
