I'm sure some of you noticed that seems to be a 'thing' right now. Like, I've seen it before, but it seems to have become quite popular in the last couple of months.
I'm wondering how do you guys feel about those? Do you think it's kind of a cheap way to sell pictures, do you think less of people who do it, or do you think more as it usually gives you a chance to get a better idea of what you're buying into beforehand? Individual pictures or multiple characters interacting? Do you guys prefer the naughty ones or maybe clean scenes depicting characters having fun? Maybe something clean but involving SPECIAL PARTICULAR INTERESTS? Would you rather have fixed prices for a spot, or just an open auction with a starting minimum (then the top bids would take it)?
Speaking frankly, as an artist, I have a feeling I'd like to give one of those a try. I feel like when someone is purchasing art from you a pre-posed picture gives them a chance to go like "Oh! That's perfect! That's exactly how I imagine my character.." ..doing whatever. Not to mention if it was a multiple character picture then the prices would definitely be much lower than a regular commission. So in a way it's gratifying, because you're sure they're going to enjoy the pose itself, so all you have to worry about is making their character look good in it. Besides, it gives a chance for a group of friends to take part in a picture together (which can either be "awwwr" or "purrr" o.o)
But yeah, just to clarify, I'm not saying I will do one of those in the future, but depending on what you guys say I might strongly consider it. I'm just honestly interested in having an open discussion about this, so feel free to post your opinion. Also, if you do think I should go ahead with it, let me know what kind of thing you guys would like. Do you want multiple characters interacting? (Please do, those are fun~ to draw o.o) Would you rather have it completely clean or something yiffy, or something clean-ish but portraying a particular fetish.. just let me know what you think, I'm excited to hear from ya! =D
