Looks like Applebee's has lost a customer...

I mean, I've been eating there less frequently because prices keep going up, but I'm definitely not going back until they re-hire Chelsea Welch, the waitress who was stiffed (and posted the receipt) of her tip after serving a party of eight because, in diner/pastor Alois Bell's words, "I give God 10%, why do you get 18%?" >_<

Weird--you'd think the restaurant would be in favor of posting receipts like that, to shame customers into giving a proper tip!!

You would think, but apparently the pastor felt humiliated by the online attention and demanded that everyone at that Applebee's be terminated. She shouldn't have wrote such a message on the receipt to begin with.

So... bad customers make outrageous demands... and get them? You're right, sounds like an establishment to avoid taking one's business to!!

This world is going down the toilet faster than a meal at Taco Bell.

I read that too. The stingy, sanctimonious bastard should find somewhere else to eat if she doesn't want to tip. At least everyone will know what she's like now.

Anyone reading, please do the same as Beefalo and boycott this place.

Thanks Bledar. B-) It's people like her that makes organized religion less and less attractive to me.

I just about shunned organized religion long ago. If you ask me, organized just means institutionalized. It's more political than spiritual.

You're right, it's more political than spiritual, and that turns me off too.

What I dislike most about those religions is the whole "sex is evil" poison. As we can see, it still infects our culture to this day. Let's face it - we're more comfortable talking about biological warfare than sexuality.
I prefer animism. It's the total opposite of institutionalized religion - all spiritual and not at all political. ^^

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the "sex is evil" thing they love teaching... yet they sure love encouraging the "be fruitful and multiply" part. ;-)

Even though the human population is over 7 billion. xD  And many seem to conveniently forget the "judge not lest ye be judged" part.

Don't get me wrong though. I have nothing against Christians believing as they choose. What I do have a problem with is that many of them don't seem to share that sense of respect. The only thing I really, really dislike about the religion itself is the way they view sexuality. That was what turned me away from it.

Well said, Bledar.
