GAWDAYUM! If I haven't preached enough about this fawking program ~ It's like, the best thing ever. CHRIST. So good. It always just had some annoying kinks in 9.5 and stuff... Not being 64 bit... Simple things like copy/paste would be a huge bitch... I couldn't figure out how to crop for the life of me... the layers were huge... you couldn't group layers...

BUT 10 FIXED EVERYTHING AZL:KFJA:LKSDJGN:k.

Time to do some effects animation for thesis :333

never heard of this before.

visited their gallery just now......hm.....mostly used for animation eh? i see they also boast realistic simulation of traditional medias. i like the water color effects in the gallery, but everything else (besides animation) looks like It can be done in other graphic programs. or do I just gotta download the trial and try for myself? :P

yeah, it's a pretty low-key program, especially here in the states. It's more typical for animation shows/features to be using Toonboom/flash - for the vector based animation tweens and stuff like that. (for the sake of speeding of the animation process (since syndicate TV shows have a couple week deadline from start to finish!)

It's just the way everything operates really. It's a rasterized base animation program, so it draws like SAI (way better for the traditional animator compared to toonboom/flash (since the vectorization fudges with your lines)). It uses the same concept of using paper and pencil, and doesn't sugar coat animation with a bunch of effects and crap to distract you (well, it can, but you gotta look for it).

Gawd, it's just so amazing. BUT! For traditional animation. If you're doing anything else, I wouldn't suggest this program xD
