If possible is there a way for me to get an email when there is a release date set or when it comes out. sad to say but there are people in my family that daily go through my email inbox looking for anything like this site so It would help immensely if someone would tell me when its out through a personal email or something thats not so.. revealing to my likes and dislikes.

FA, it will happen when it happens, I check in now and again, if there's no update, I shrug and go about my business. When there is an update, I'll go "YAY!" The same applies if there is a progress update that tells us what's happening.

I certainly understand about life getting in the way, I haven't written a new chapter in a story since September 2012 or so. I've got several stories (involving humans, so not available here) that haven't had new chapters in over a year, despite fans crying for more.

Sadly, there'll always be those feeding. Though, I guess that'll always be that way. Might as well find a way to deal with it or even have some fun, when it's obvious trolling instead of some darn haters.

Also, might want to take some of the suggestions into account which were prestented on your last journal:

Do not give a new release date!

I for one wouldn't like that too much. Thing being, there'll always be chances something happens and you find yourself unable to concentrate on the game for the sake of yer own real life. Which is totally fine. It just sorta turns into something like a hate-fest, when people start calling you on those more or less promised, but not kept release dates. So, might wanna leave that out in the future. Makes it easier for you.

Instead just give some updates, from time to time, saying what's happening at the moment, game-wise, if you want about life, too. Not even neccessary to be every other week, 'cuz folks might actually start to be more easy going about it. And then, some beauteous day, you can go all out and scream "Surprise!" when you finally release it, without even having to mention how long it's been dusting already. ;)

Lesson learned, and I say again, you don't owe release dates to anybody. Hell, you don't even owe periodic update journals to anybody. They don't make progress move any faster or slower anyway, but yeah, we're all spoiled by you game makers and artists, so I suppose it's only natural for someone to go Veruca Salt every now and then.

I can't come up with anything original to say, I just want to repeat (almost) everything that everyone else have said already. The game will be ready when it's ready, and when it's not it's not, and that's fine too. The last sentence was probably not the best one that I have written but grammar is something that happens to other people so I don't care ;)

It's something I learned from writing fanfiction. Never give anyone a release date, people will bug you on the day you said you'd post something. Best just to say it'll be soon if it will be. I look forward to it!

They weren't invented to make your fans hate you, lol idk where you people got that idea from, but to calm the majority of your fans down though if you mess up and not deliver then you'll just be a jack ass to all the fans that believed in your word. I mean your pretty much telling them that you don't need to defend yourself even though your the one in the wrong and avoiding leaving journals to calm these angery / upset people down seems to be a horrible idea. When you go hide away like that you end up scaring all the people that trust you and may in fact create even more angery / upset people then you would have if you just do regular journals with updates or even setbacks to let them know whats going on instead of leaving the people that support you in the dark.

well i never write shit on here , i been one of those quiet fans that just checks every weekend not everyday for an update, and when i see nothing ok "well maybe next weekend". Like every good fan says DON'T WORRY DUDE TYT, RELAX, DO NOT RUSH YOURSELF. But if you have the time for reading trough the comments and responding and w/e else, you might have a little extra time to do what all these people are waiting for, and I didnt want to put these out but i donate to this BSC under another account that i lost access to it and dont get me wrong i still do not feel entitle to demand you guys to finish it, i would say TAKE YOUR TIME, take your sweet time and finish it right and make it the best as you planned, but stop the BS please, i am not defending, i am not attacking anyone, just save the meaningless journals and the comments and replies, the hugs and the kisses and smiles for when this is all done and everyone is happy and the haters and the lovers can STFU and stop arguing with each other. Release dates are only a good idea if you already have all the work done and just want to wait to publish it a little later, like on a specific holiday or something.

Calenders are for work, dates are for people you love, and this bunny-girl stands by them remaining apart. If you set a date and someone gets bent around it because something came up.. then their love is waning. If one claims to love you and begins throwing stones when you are not looking; then it is time for a restraining order, and I would ban them from everything I do. A girls got to be safe **especially from hate mail**, there is no shame in rallying your friends to do the same, and I don't care for people defending the cruel.

How about you say that you promise to release no later than After Microsoft releases a fully operational out of the box multiplatform Operating System, that you dont need to get extra software for to do anything useful. 8)

I thought a little thing that could calm the ardor of some.
You only have to upload an image (white) with write on the percentage of completion of BSC and every day at the same time you reupload the image with the new percentage cries above.
This will calm and reassured all who wait for this game

Have you ever considered just releasing the source code and images to the community and letting them finish / continue the project? You both seem to have crazy complicated / stressed out lives that mandate taking 8 to 10 months a year off to "deal with things" and the updates you do, let's face it, are not rocket science. I'm sure there is something reading this forum right now that could modify the few lines of code needed to finish this in less time then you've spend reading / replying to comments.

I do realise that you're a human being and thus have feelings and this stuff. But for real now, (though the massive amount of whiteknights around here may say other) we're not here to see how you are. You should stop writing journals about your emotions and start writing about the progress of work. What you're doing isn't helping. You're writing journals and that's fine. It's even okay to tell us about your problems, but couldn't there be at least a LITTLE bit more about BSC? I find it rather disappointing that you're still not really updating us even after admitting your mistake.

good to see you have a good mental outlook and don't let anyone get to you, you are doing this for your own reasons not anyone else remember that and don't let anything get you down as its the worst thing you could do just focus on you life and make sure you have it sorted before you worry about other as that his how stuff like these games wind up failing the developers lives become troubled and then everyone start complaining and putting pressure on them about why they are not doing what they want so focus on whats important to you not all your fans because when u stop focusing on whats important to you that's when it will start to fall apart and keep up the good work and don't worry if you mess up every once in a while your human it happens and good luck in your studies (sorry if i said it in a roundabout way i do that sometimes due to the dyslexia) but keep up the good work

Yeah man, that's the way. Just relax and do whatever you have to do. If your busy with other things that take priority just do them. Yeah, some may cry and curse due to having them hopes crushed for not being able to enjoy your (free I think) work yet, but hey, life's not easy and no one but you can undertand your circumstances as you do.

Even if I only writed 1 or 2 messeges to Aval0nx an this 1 to you, I've been following your work for quite a time and yes, somtimes I feel like "This guys are never going to end that $"·%!!& game" and occupy myself with other things, but in a couple of week again I remember that 2 guys are working in an interesting game that got my atention for its originallity. Then again I keep that repeating cicle again and again because you really hook me up along with those other people that support you.

So in this, I hope last message to any of you, I wish to tell you that no matter what other people may think whats really important is that you live your live on your own way and that you can count me in the list of one of those thousand os silent supporters that follows and wish you to be fine and, if the times really can arrive anytime before I die (had to do the pun xD), play the game when the 1st complete version is out.

I was going to live a nice little fake troll assault again but i am kinda sad for Aval0nX all his hard work screwed over by Feathered an his little life problems. I mean it couldn't take more then 2 to 3 hours or less to add the images into the game but for Feathered it seems it will take over 2 months he must work in a magical work of wizards and warlocks fighting demons and other monsters 24/7. Im sure of it because it looks like it takes all his time and energy expect those few hours he has to write a journal bowing and scraping telling everyone how hard it is to be him.

April 8, 2012 since babysitting cream was updated. Now its been 9 months and 20 days and still no update of babysitting cream. I've been patient waiting for the babysitting cream update how long its going to be release. Is it going to be next month or another year. I can't blame some guys to be mad at you.

Really would be nice if they made it open source. Don't know why Avalon doesn't, would just let him do the artwork and story lines and let people do the code for him. He could just have a official version, its not like he is getting paid so who cares if people release unofficial versions of the game.

If it had been open sourced, it would have been done a couple days after Christmas by one of the many people here who is actually capable of getting his shit together. I would find Avian's whole "I fucked up!" sob story soooo much more compelling if he showed even the slightest initiative to unfuck his fuck-up. It would be nice to see an update... and by update I mean an actual update on the game rather than another "woe is me!" sob-fest by some man-baby who is apparently too 'delicate' to be troubled with such thing as keeping a commitment.

I think you all can easly see, why he doesn't want to "give away" the source code, because he wants to "earn all the fame" (with avalon) when it's done in 2050.

To state the facts again, Avian is not the creative/artist department, he is (sorry) just the coder/finisher. The art and (call me wrong) story/dialogue are allready finished.

If you really really toooooooo busy to finish the work, send it all back to Avalon and say "sorry I'm too busy". But no, you are clinging and crippling/delaying on it all.

Btw to state to some haters who say "the last update was april 2012, bla bla bla" The actual work on this new update only began a few months ago.

So what "ALHAZAD and Fenrys" said is not true.

yes the last version april, you are right, but (sorry bout it) the journal from 5 months ago "I really need coaching from them" is actual the time were he worked on art again

before that he had to take a break.

And I don't know if you know (and maybe it's just a rumor i read somewhere) This version is not the finale version either.
