Still Not Settled.

Okay, APPARENTLY that last poll was biased. If Pokemon were to exist in the real world (suddenly, in current times, not from the start), would we classify them into existing taxonomy kingdoms (animalia, plantae, fungi, etc.) or give them their own? Bear in mind not all Pokemon could even be considered as living beings, as some Pokemon don't need oxygen, food, or water. Most plant-based Pokemon can use photosynthesis, btw. Also note all of OUR life forms descend from one ancestor into the taxonomy tree, while Pokemon come from a different ancestor that would most sensibly divide into its own taxonomy tree.

Choices:

1: All Pokemon would have their own taxonomy tree entirely.

2: All Pokemon would be given their own domain and/or kingdom(s).

3: We would classify most of them into existing domains and kingdoms, but make another one for certain cases.

4: All Pokemon would be classified into the already-existing taxonomy tree.

I'm going to go with the first choice:
All Pokemon would have their own taxonomy tree entirely.

I would have to go with "2: All Pokemon would be given their own domain and/or kingdom" most likely base on primary type.

Also there better be plenty of grass type Pokemon to help repair the planets ozone.
