While doing research for a story (yes believe it or not I do research for Porn stories) I was looking for how felines might react to smoked Catnip. I think judging by what I've learned my plans for using it in my up coming story are with in the bounds of reality. Also learning that it has effect on other species besides cats also will help the story.
Now it's that second part that interests me. Catnip effects other species. I've known that some what but I've learn that it's a mild sedative and can be good good for stomach aches if brewed into a tea. I've also read that if smoked it has no real side effects and works to relax you, pluss I've read it's a mellower smoke then tobacco or err other green herbs. there is some loss of reaction time but the effect lasts maybe 2 hours with no hang over. I'll admit this intrigues me. Since I don't know how to roll a joint, and I'd be too embarrassed to ask my mom to make me a catnip one. I think I'm going to try it in a pipe. (I always liked pipes) I have read it can effect some people differently others like it effects some cats differently then others, but if it works it may be a cheap ad pleasant way to relax after the hell that is work in a call center. I intended to try its all ways, brewing it in tea (and if I ever get around to it I wonder how a cat nip beer would be) eating it and smoking it. right now it'll just be an experiment. I don't smoke anything, and I drink maybe one or two beers a month so I don't think this is too wacky.
anyway what do you think?
PS... If smoking works out I might try to talk my folks into at least cutting there, green herbs, with it to save them some money there smoke isn't cheap and well a pricy cat nip is more cost effective
PPS... I don't care if it's doctors orders going to bed with sandwich bags duct taped to your feet feels weird
