Okay, first and foremost, I am actually writing stories, not just spewing out vitriolic journals every ten seconds for nobody to read. In fact, I've done a lot recently, finishing and editing a 35,000 word story as well as working on the final chapter of Tai's Story. So no, I'm not being lazy, though I am sorry for taking so long to update.
For those of you who didn't follow me on any other sites, I'd like to explain that I've actually done 11 and a half chapters of "Tai's Story" (no luck thinking of a better name though) as well as 2 other stories.
There are two reasons why I've not simply gone ahead and thrown the entire collection on InkBunny.
1. I want the chapters on InkBunny to be the final versions, with no more edits. This isn't how story writing is supposed to go: you finish the entire manuscript, then edit it. As it stands, I need to get individual chapters squeezed out one at a time, and thus I've always had to reserve the right to go back and edit them. Why? Writing actually involves a lot of editing, erasure, re-writing, and so on, so forth, that only gets worse the longer the stories are -- and my stories are long.
The problem is: I just opened the very first chapter of Tai's Story and immediately found things to change. That's bad. When you say "this is the final version, I'm uploading it now... oh shit!" that's very bad.
2. I actually did have one of the other stories up here before. It got a tenth the views it received on FurAffinity, despite being my favorite and probably best project to date. So forgive me if I'm not keen on throwing it up here and would rather wait a little while. :3
That said, I'm a little pissed off at the delay my laptop's suicide caused, so I won't be keeping you all waiting too long.
