Chapter 1 is done and posted! Feeling good about how it turned out, and I am already hard at work on chapter 2 with 1397 words. Special thanks to Cormenthor for the constructive feedback. I'll post a preview link soon, just as soon as I work out a better transition from Scene 1 to Scene 2. Spring semester begins on January 14, and I hope to be able to get at least through Chapter 3, but I'm going for Chapter 4. After that, well, school is a priority, but since I'm having fun exploring these characters, I'll still try and write, but the updates will be less frequent. Watch for Chapter 2 soon, hopefully before Christmas!
