Commission Info

by
Here is a more detailed outline of my commission process. It is a product of my experiences and ideas thus far and is subject to change. I hope you find it helpful.

First things first, check out my guide to get an idea of the different options - https://inkbunny.net/submissionview.php?id=332757

Contacting me about Commissions

This is done simply by sending me a private message. I don’t always advertise my availability for commissions, so if you want something drawn but are unsure if I’m available – just ask.

What I Won’t Draw

Here are some things to keep in mind when seeking me verses other artists:

-I cannot conform to another artist's style or venture far beyond my comfort zone. If you commission Tuke for a drawing, you're going to get a Tuke drawing...for good or bad.

- I have my own quirky interests, but I certainly embrace the right to reject an idea if I'm uncomfortable with it or if I know I wouldn't produce a quality image. My drawings come from my heart, so if my heart isn't in the idea or characters somewhat...the end result will show.

Other general things I won't draw are as follows:
- gore
- rape
- micro/macro
- fat/chubby
- pregnancy
- scat
- daipers
- robots
- unappealing or gross looking aliens
- bugs
- humans
- cubs that look or are younger than 10

What I Will Draw

Likely if your idea doesn't fall under or suggest anything above, it is safe. But don’t hold me to that. There’s probably hundreds of other fetishes out that I’m not even aware of and would not be comfortable drawing.

The Artistic Process

Sketch

After I’m given your idea (including any reference material you’d like to provide), I’ll work on the sketch. Once done, I’ll send it to you for approval. If everything checks out, I’ll upload it (unless you request otherwise).

Colored/Colored with Background/Reference Sheet

After I’m given your idea (including any reference material you’d like to provide), I’ll work on the sketch. Once done, I’ll send it to you for approval. If everything checks out, I’ll start coloring and shading. Once I’m finished, I’ll send it to you once more for approval. If everything checks out, I’ll upload it (unless you request otherwise).

Comic Page

A comic page has a minimum of three panels. If you plan on this comic being multiple pages, be sure to let me know so that I can plan accordingly. The most important factor in comics, for me, is a solid story or idea. I may suggest changes I’d like to make – changes including staging, layout, dialogue, or anything else. Ultimately, if I don’t like the idea, I won’t do it. Simple as that. Comics are a huge investment in time and effort, and I wouldn’t want to spend it all on something I’m not interested in (my interests encompass a wide range, so don't worry too much).

Note that once I've handed over a final picture, you're free to do with it as you will. Just be sure to mention me as the artist ;).

The Payment Process

There are a few ways to go about doing this. I leave it up to you.
- pay up front
- pay after you approve the sketch
- or pay upon completion. *This one hasn't come to bite me in the ass yet. Please don’t be the one to ruin it*

Again, I hope you find this helpful. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.

Cheers,

You don't need a paypal account for this to work. Any sort of credit/debit card works just fine :)

Paypal's invoice system works through email. All I would need is your email address. I'm pretty sure it just asks for your credit card information (which I am unable to see or obtain, so don't worry).

Be warned that PayPal can still charge you and reverse charges if you use them as a payment service.

I think the fee is something like 2.9%. But that comes out of what I receive, not as an additional charge to the customer's bank account. Say I charge $40 on a drawing, I'll send an invoice for just that. The payment is made, Paypal gets $1.16, and I get $38.84. A small price to pay for their services, in my opinion.

Right, but they also control those funds.  So if you are paid, then the customer does a charge-back, then Paypal will dictate if it's returned or not, and Paypal usually errs on the side of the buyer.  Just recently an alert went out about a buyer who is commissioning people for digital art then reversing charges.  Since there's nothing to physically mail, Paypal always reverses, because that's their policy.

So if you use a CC through PP, these security problems still apply.

that is all fine and dandy, but my issue isn't money getting to you exactly anymore. I went to try it...the reason I can't use my paypal is because when I made it....I wasn't told that I should use my legal name so I used a username instead.....this is my problem, now paypal won't let me transfer funds from my bank account TO my pay pal, the reason is because their under two different names. I tried to change my paypal name and it won't let me!

Ah well; so commissioning is out, but at least I can still enjoy the stuff you post!  <3
