Sharuum the Hegemon EDH/Commander

In honor of
's fancy decklists, I thought I would share as well with anyone interested.

The deck plays as a self mill/tutor into small combos. It seems to work generally well, although it isn't safe against grave-hate, only because it seldom comes up in my playgroup. Anywhom, the list with convenient links!

**Proxy Cards**
Demonic Tutor
Crucible of Worlds

Yeah, I'm disappointed to admit I have those two in the deck, but sadly they are more vital than you can imagine, and since the deck never leaves the kitchen table all my friends are aware they exist. I'm probably going to drop the tutor as it just doesn't come up often enough, but the crucible is important to mostly recover any lost plains for Emeria.

Anyway, as I said before, I don't see much grave-hate so it is safe for now, however I am thinking I might add some of my own grave-hate which works with the in deck mill, such as Leyline of the Void or Rest in Peace.

I think Shape Anew is an excellent card for this.  Sacrifice a not so important artifact for a possibly much bigger one.  Seems like you have a much higher ratio of high cost artifacts to low cost artifacts.  Reshape does the same thing sort of but lets you control the outcome.  You can also use Acquire if your opponent has some nasty artifacts, and more often than not they do.

You also have 1/2 of a really stupid combo with Karn, Silver Golem.  If you have the Mycosnyth Lattice out you can use Karn, Silver Golem to animate your opponents lands and make them instantly die for being 0/0 creatures.

Leyline of the Void is ok but Rest in Peace is bad for you since it does all graveyards not just your opponents.
