's live-in caregiver/love slave, so it'll take two years instead of one, but it has the added bonus of not having a bunch of superfluous requirements, so no gen ed. That's a huge blessing for me, because the one thing I couldn't stand about taking classes before is the amount of seemingly unrelated classes you take as opposed to ones directly related to your field of interest.
I know, I know: knowledge in unrelated fields is transferable in novel and non-obvious ways, but try telling my spazzy brain that. Also, if you could slap my brain in its bitch face while you're telling him that I would be most appreciative. :D
ANYWHOOZ, this is great for me. Why, nobody asks? Well, it means that I'm finally getting smart about my future and not falling back on tired idealism that revolves around how I think things should be and not how things are. I still want to do art, but I need some sort of skillz that pay the billz in the interim. YAY SMART GOOB! :B
On an unrelated note, I went to the doctor recently because of a sharp pain in my right shin that didn't have an obvious reason to be there. They took some Xrays of that and my knee and found what they think is a healed non-ossifying fibroma, so I'm being recommended to a orthopedician to see if anything needs to be done about it. Survey likely says no, since it's only flared up once, and it's probably not big enough to warrant excision.
Funny story, what I heard the first time they told me was "something something sarcoma." My face was like dis: ヽ(ﾟДﾟ)ﾉ
