So here is a deck that Sky and I built for a friend. Keep in mind that I used the resources that were available to her. Can't always have the exact cards you want so you make due with what you got. ^^
The basic premise of this deck is to get a bunch of solders out and then go for the beatdown with Odric. He's able to get rid of offending creatures by making them block unfavorably or he can just say "no blocking for you" if he wants to. Overall I feel it's a pretty good deck. Tell me what you think. Any suggestions or combos you can think of?

This is for the EDH or Commander format. You must have exactly 99 cards plus 1 general in the deck and no more than 1 of each card that is not a basic land. That's why so many and all different. ^^

I try to put a Catapult Squad (Tap two Untapped Soldiers you control deal 2 damage to target attacking or blocking creature) in there as well, in addition to a Cinitual Flute (X,Tap: Search your Library for Creature card with converted casting cost equal to X or less)

It can help break a lock with Coat of Arms since it works for opponents creatures too. You'd be surprised just how many creatures are humans. Really no other reason than that.

I see you have a few key pieces of my Kithkin soldier deck. However, some of my aces would be beneficial to any soldier and aggro white deck. Then found two more cards of interest.
Creatures:
Crusader of Odric 2W As you have the creature count to pull it off, you can make him beefy. His power and toughness is equal to the number of creatures you control.
Elite Inquisitor WW He's an impressive two drop. 2/2 with first strike and vigilance. And then the really limited situational defense against vampires, werewolves, and zombies.
Ballyrush Banneret 1W He is wonderful for early game. He makes it to where all Kithkin [not important] and Soldier [Bingo] spells cost 1 less to play. Weakling at 2/1, but frees up your mana a bit for defensive maneuvers or getting more than one soldier out on the field later on.
Kithkin Shielddare 1W A great defensive creature. Not for himself, as he's a lowly 1/1. His ability, for WT, gives target blocking creature +2/+2. Helps you keep your defenses up if something a little bigger comes your way.
Mosquito Guard W Great first turn drop with tiny bit of utility. He's a 1/1 with first strike. If you need to buff and have a card you don't mind getting rid of, you can use his reinforce ability. For !W and discard, you get a +1/+1 on a creature.
Kithkin Zephyrnaut 2W Great assault soldier. Though a 2/2 for his price is horrible, it's his kinship bonus that makes him worth it. With Kinship, at the beginning of your upkeep, if it shares a creature type with him [soldier of course] he get +2/+2, flying, and vigilance. He's excellent if someone manages to remove Ordic and you need to get over non-flying blockers.
Preeminent Captain 2W The crown jewel of any soldier deck. Surprised they didn't make him a 1/1. He gets first strike and an amazing ability. Whenever he attacks, you may put a soldier card from your hand into play, tapped and attacking. So no only do you get to play a soldier for free but he gets to attack. He's why when the store I went to had a four set of him, I told them to shut up and take my money.
Enchantment:
Armored Ascension 3W This card is perfect for a monowhite deck. As it gives enchanted creature +1/+1 for each Plain you control and flying. Perfect for anyone who isn't Ordic, as you may want it to overcome defenses if someone takes your commander out.

Both Crusader of Odric and Armored Ascension are already in the deck. Out of the rest of the stuff I agree with some and don't with others. Commander is usually the place for bigger or more utility creatures than other formats. In my opinion a creature has to be able either to scale in power or be able to provide some kind of utility should it be drawn in the late stages of the game or even better, both. I try to build the deck with that in mind and of course a theme if it is so desired. In this case, the theme is soldiers.
Even though I thoroughly believe that Elite Inquisitor is an amazing creature in some formats, I think it loses some of its luster in the commander format. A 2/2 first strike, vigilance with minorly relevant protections for two just isn't really impressive by commander standards. While it is good in the early game it fails to deliver in the late game unless you're facing a creature or an opponent playing a theme deck it just happens to have protection from. Unfortunately the protections that he has aren't as all encompassing as say protection from black or something like that. Also, starting with 40 life kind of diminishes what it can and can't do before your opponent is able to mount a suitable defense.
The Banneret creatures are also normally great. In commander though, they again suffer from the same issues. Small creatures with not so good of a bonus in the late game. While it may be excellent to get it out early to put out one to two extra soldiers early it doesn't do much of anything for you in the late game. I would much rather see a Daru Warchief or Field Marshal here. Unfortunately, they don't have those.
The Mosquito Guard suffers from this a bit less due to its alternate reinforce ability but I still don't think it does as much as say a Loyal Sentry or a Champion of the Parish.
The Kithkin Zephyrnaut while a great creature with kinship active, really doesn't deliver when it isn't your turn or when you fail to reveal a soldier or a kithkin. In commander roughly 35% of a deck is straight up land and roughly another 25-50% are usually spells that aren't creatures. Unless you have a much heavier creature theme, which is entirely possible. In this particular deck though, 70 out of the 100 cards are not soldiers or kithkin. The only reason it isn't 73 cards is because of the tribal enchantment, equipment and the instant that has changeling. When only 30% of the deck makes it possible for the creature to be awesome, and only on your turn as well (and it gets more underwhelming the more people are playing with you, since it isn't your turn for that much longer) it doesn't make for a very great creature.
As for the Kithkin Shielddare I believe that something like a Haazda Shield Mate would provide better protection than just making your guys a little bigger. Either that or maybe Commander Eesha since she has an all encompassing protection from creatures. Unfortunately budget constraints rear their ugly head again.
The one creature I wholeheartedly agree with you on 100% is the Preeminent Captain, but alas, they do not have one and it was a bit above their budget to get one. I also wanted to try to put a Steam Catapult in there but they didn't have one of those either.
I really enjoyed looking at the cards you suggested and discussing my thoughts on them. I hope to hear more suggestions and reasoning from you in the future. ^^
