Okay, so here's what's up.
Twincest is finished. The end and bonus page in it's entirety are uploaded and safe on the internet. So what's next?
As for a next chapter, sequel, or any other continuation names, I'm not doing one now, nor will I be for a long time, if ever.
When I first started this comic, I was all in for writing chapter after chapter, and even now I feel these two could have more story to tell. However, as I got closer to completion, my feelings changed. I want to write something completely my own, for one. Something with new characters, a different situation, etc. I have a lot of story ideas, and continuing Twincest would take all of my time and creative energy away from those. In addition, I feel that the story that's been told here in this revision is good on its own. It introduced us to two siblings, showed us their interaction, and left us to imagine what may or may not happen from here onward. I kind of like the feeling of "setting them free"; these two skunks have come to mean a lot to me, and seeing them degrade into nothing but a couple of horny teenagers, mating for our amusement and arousal, just makes me feel very sad. And I know that unless I planned it very, very carefully, that's all it would be. I don't have a grandiose story in mind, just more sex, and I need more than that if I were to continue these two on their life together.
However, Devon and Keri aren't going to disappear entirely. I love drawing them, and I simply refuse to not draw them again, ha ha. I plan on drawing still images of the two of them; going about their lives, maybe a non-canon sex scene, maybe some cameos in other comics I write, etc. I also am thinking of allowing people to commission me to draw their character with Devon or Keri (or both), but I feel a little strange about it. Kind of like... pimping out my own children or something. I dunno, I'm an artist, and I'm complicated #artsy
Lastly, I'm going to be doing little revisions to the comic, and offering a .zip file of the high quality and improved version for a small fee. The comic will still stay free online, but if you'd like to own this slightly nicer version and have it be super big for maximum Twincest viewing, then go for it! I don't have a price set yet, as I'm only just starting the revising process, but I'll have news about that soon enough. I hope to do these revisions over winter break, since the place I work closes for a few weeks. It may be up in January *crosses fingers*
I'd like to end this with an extremely from-the-bottom-of-my-heart thank you to everyone. If it wasn't for all of your interest in this comic, I may have left it as yet another unfinished task in a long list of procrastinated failures. The feedback, the outright criticism, the confessions of undying love for skunks, and everything in between. Writing for myself is okay, but writing to a living, breathing internet fanbase and watching everyone's reactions was... indescribable. I love it. This comic was started as a general thank you to the furry community for being fun, accepting and quirky, and ended as a sincerely felt gift, almost like a debt owed, for how amazing the furry fandom is.
Thank you everyone *teary eyes of happy time*
