if its not one thing its another :(

This past months since i started my job ive had foot pains, had to give up all my money to help a family member, had a doctors visit that amounted to them throwing meds at me that didn't do shit, got the bad news that i have high blood pressure, caught a cold, and 15 minutes ago the nail of my big to was split in half from the middle to the side of my toe by the vengeful refrigerator door. so a better example, the line of the tare is about 25% of the whole nail. im in so much pain right now. my sister says it will be fine cause the same thing happened to her last month on her hand. she was clipping her fingernail and the clipper went too deep and nearly cut out a huge chunk of it, leaving it hanging. she says as long as i keep it super clean and diss infected as ti grows i can clip it. i swear all this has happened at the wrong time. in these past 3 weeks ive missed about 4 days of work due to my foot pains and me being sick. i really hope things get better.

Hydrogen peroxide about 3 times a day, cover it in neosporin, and keep a large bandaid on it(i personally prefer curad but bandaid is fine)

my sister said the same. i was going to go to a emergency room but my sister said that the treatment you just suggested should do fine. i wish i could peel it back and clip it, but when it peeled, it peeled inwards towards the center then back out to the site. it hurts way too much to peel it the rest of the way to clip it. last time i felt this much pain was when i got stitches on my head as a child.

Owwwie. That's no good. *hug* Bandage snugly around it should minimize the pain from the nail getting moved around or anything. Be extra careful not to stub your toe, because that's a world of pain waiting to happen.

If you want less pain, mix in some anbesol or orajel with the neosporin. The benzocain in it will numb the immediate area. And being mixed with neosporin, it wil help promoter regrowth while preventing infection. You can pick up some wal-mart brand orasol for 2 dollars here, so should be quite cheap where u r.

No problem. One word, though. It may burn or itch for the first 15 seconds. It tends to vary by person, and the time is rarely more than 6 seconds. It's only the first time u do it though, so no issue.
