I mean I cant work on higher quality original art if I cant put digitals or prints for sale, and would be a bad idea to post then wait since people generally have a habit of ignoring old pics.. Plus I kind of depend on occasional tips to help, I did get $22 when it was working at first.
This is all a prob since I'm often short on budget by a hundred or two a month, so I have to blow more time on doing badly paying tasks for people like mowing, repairs, and so on that could've been spent on projects. Pretty much the same deal with the friends that used to help alot with the art.

I believe it's still top priority from what Starling has said. It's apparently a complicated issue otherwise it would have been fixed by now. You can thank AlertPay for pulling the rug out from under IB, though. Starling got the site approved before he started using AlertPay but they still ganked their services. c.c

The payment system is going to work soon, and will enable you to track your orders and let people download your digital sales once you set them as paid, so they can add them to their bookshelf as before. It will be not as automatic as when we would act as the payment gateway, but until we find a new one that is /good/ and will not make drama, it's the only way we can think of to let artists have a this nice feature back!

This could be an opportunity for somebody to grow a specialized online payment system, secure in that you dont need to give out shipping addresses for digital work or tips for artists/projects (which is stupid in the online stalker world). Because it's needed and the existing companies are run by such self-righteous assholes.

That really is a good idea. Dunno what would it be needed for it to be able to work, though. But if something like that existed, it'd for sure be useful! The final seller's personal data shouldn't be given to the final buyer unless the company inbetween is asked to do so by court order.
