Oh boy... Rant warning.
I'm not gonna give it any artificial values or something since it would probably be just like 2/10 or something I just want to show what's SO wrong with this game.
Graphics: They aren't that great. Highly mediocre. But one thing that gets me is the snow clipping. If you cant show snow clipping DON'T SHOW YOUR CHARACTER GETTING UP OUT OF SNOW!!! It's like a white line that makes everything that touches it go invisible. It looks HORRIBLE!
Music: Some of the tracks are really amazing. I have to give some credit to that.
Story: Oh boy... Get ready. The main problem with AC3 is Connor. For having to be with him the whole time and experiencing his adventures he is so so so dull. While he starts out strong and has some really great moments you notice that his face has only one blank expression which makes him so BORING! For being in such a hard time for his people I didn't give a single fuck about him because he is so lifeless. They should have made the whole game with his old man. It would be more interesting and that character is amazing. His voice actor really made him pop out. Unlike condor who has only the one expression of being slightly bothered by everything that's going around him. And as for his story it's mostly "Hey you player. That's a famous person from near recent history. How AWESOME is that! AMERICA! FUCK YEAH! " And as for dual nature of people he kills it it makes no sense. You didn't show me anything that made their reasons believable. AT ALL! And Connor's story ending? It's so anticlimactic I almost fell asleep. And let's get to the 2nd problem. Desmond. Boy does he bitch trough out this game. For a man that accepted that he is an assassin and his fate in last parts he sure bitches a lout about it this time. And his abstergo mission. It's not a spoiler if you played any game you should now it. And a bit off here if you haven't played any previous games this game makes a HORRID job explaining the previous games. Anyway in abstergo I'm surprised that every guard with a gun is given only ONE BULLET! Really. They won't even try to shoot you if there like 5 of them around you. They'll just watch and wait to get killed. And for such a company i'm pretty sure there would be some highly armored guards with machine guns protecting it but nope. Desmon goes in with a knife and his hidden blade and tears everything apart. And at the end he pulls out his dick I mean apple of eden and makes everyone suicide. Hey here is a crazy idea. WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T YOU DO THAT FROM THE START?! And the ending. Oh boy the ending. If you didn't see that coming from a mile away you're retarded. And it sux soooo hard. It's worse than Mass Effect 3. I'm not kidding.
Gameplay: The only new thing about the gameplay is you can climb the trees and that game is now in super duper extra ultra easy mode. You can beat the game without buying anything without any problems. WITHOUT BUYING ANYTHING!!! Da fuq? And the story missions? Highly linear and really underwhelming. The only good thing about this game is the naval combat which is amazing. I'm pretty sure they just worked on that and nothing else.
So in conclusion. Boring main character that you'll forget what you were doing an hour after you beat the game, horrible boring story with a amazingly bad ending and a game that you can beat easily WITHOUT BUYING ANYTHING!
