I'm not really sure how though. This morning when I woke up, my bunny Blaze was a stiff as a board. At first I thought he was resting but when I tapped the cage he didn't move. My head and my heart have been in shambles all day. I had a vet look over him but couldn't find anything wrong. He was eating healthy and pooping healthy. He was drinking water and not making any weird breathing noises. The vet said it could of been a cardiac arrest since bunnies are known to be easily stressed by their "fight or flight" mentality. At first I thought it might of been because of me since I didn't give Blaze as much attention as I would of liked to, but when I explained how I took are of him I was told I did more for him then most bunny owners.
The whole experience has left me pretty shook up but slowly and surely I'm feeling better. I usually keep tragic stuff like this to myself but I've found opening up about it to be helpful in the healing process. For those who know me know I hate pity parties or when someone uses a personal tragedy for their own benefit. I'm only posting this as a tribute to my bunny Blaze to honor his memory. He was a good bunny and I'm going to miss him dearly.
