I Do Not "Friend" Blank Accounts

EDIT: Most people watching me don't have to worry, okay? When I say "blank accounts" I mean those that don't even have so much as a user pic uploaded or a single word written in their biography section. As long as I can tell you're an actual person and not a spam bot or something then I'm not necessarily going to snub you.

No, you're not. What I mean by a blank account is one where someone has only registered the user name, but hasn't bothered to do anything else with it. You don't have to have any submissions or even favorites, just some sign that you're an actual person. Just a few words in the bio box would do, as long as it shows that the account isn't just there to spam users or something.

As for you, I might add you to the friends list once I get to know you a little better. Nothing personal, but I like to get to know someone a bit first.

Well, I don't know you that well. But you're getting there. This journal isn't directed at most people, whether they're watching me or not. I've just had a lot of spam lately from accounts where there wasn't so much as a user pic uploaded, both on this site and on the SoFurry site. You're fine.

Which doesn't mean we can't be, if you want. I'm willing to make an exception for even totally empty accounts if the person who owns it actually talks and acts like a person instead of a spam bot. I'm not a total bitch, after all.

I don't mind people friending me. I just don't like "friending" by accounts that have absolutely nothing in them, because that just seems fishy to me.
