I try to avoid drama myself, but there's a lot of it going around regarding a few folks I care for at least a small amount of (meaning that I would like to, at minimum, meet them IRL over dinner or at a convention/gathering of some description).

What's here matches up in a similar fashion to one person who is experiencing a bit of blackmail. Like I said earlier, I try to avoid drama - it has a negative effect on my blood pressure, my sanity and my well-being, but I can't be certain that the drama you are experiencing matches up with who I've got in mind.

He's a cry baby. You didn't do a request for him so he goes off the deep end. When he doesn't get what he wants, he'll try and go around and make you seem like the bad guy. It's your choice to do what requests you want. If he's getting this pissy over not getting a pic, then he's got some issues to work out.

But who the fuck do they think they are? Who do they think they are to think they are -Entitled- to a request. This person clearly has some emotional issues and I feel bad for whoever their 'new love' is or whatever it is.

Joy... you have done nothing but been nice to people on IB, been really sweet and stuff since I joined it at least from what I've noticed. You don't put up with BS and you know what you want. Right down to what you want or don't want to draw. Drawing is about enjoyment and why are you gonna draw something you don't enjoy. And if you do enjoy it... then maybe you haven't gotten a chance to draw it. Really... if this person is that much of an emo bitch that they need to be all QQy and shit cause you didn't pick them and making it all personal and shit... then they don't deserve shit all. \

To that person whoever that is... show some fucking consideration and respect. Show some decency and appreciation and stop thinking that you're entitled to shit and making other people out to be the bad guy just because the poor fuckin baby didn't get what they wanted. You're no better than anyone else... and I'm sure many people want a piece of Joy. An artist not giving you a piece of -Free- art; they are doing from the kindness of their heart, doesn't make them a cheat. It makes you a fucking dipshit who has no social skills for thinking this.

Block him/her for prevent dramas, and if is a user of here, publish the name for all the artists can see what kind of person is it, and maybe make a kind of network between all the users and for then everybody block him/her too and... I think is that´s all, I love to humiliate the people. =P

It sounds like selfishness to me, pure and simple. Nothing but more of the same old song you see so often in this fandom: "Wah, you drew free art for someone else and not me, you big meanie!" People need to grow up and realize that unless you actually pay an artist to draw for you, they aren't obligated to give you a thing.

A lot of people seem to get their panties in a knot if they feel ignored. Call them selfish, stupid, etc. The truth is I view them as a sort of self important bottom feeders that simply need to get it in their head that maybe, just maybe with their over the top demands for free work is simply what it is; completely uninteresting. I've had a friend of mine that I've been role-playing with over the years go through crap like this time and time again and I'm often left with the task of cleaning up. Which I don't mind, matter of a fact I delight in doing it. Hell, I'd run the complaint department for both you and Iko if need be. I enjoy both of your work and make no such demands for free work. But, I'm far from nice to people if they are referred to me.

Just because it is a request, does not mean that you have to do it. It's all based on whether or not it interests the artist to take time out of their schedule to try and enjoy themselves.

I cant even. i dont even see where they are coming from it's like not giving a kid what they want so they whine about trying to recruit as many people who will feel sorry for them as they can. yeah I can see being hurt if someone denies you of a request, but it should never be more than a simple "aww man =(" because really if they're going to bitch about something that's FREEthen there is no hope for them

I could rant on for hours about this but i dont want to bore you with me going in circles so yknow just ignore the because they aren't really worth your time.

reminds me of a person that believes the universe is there for their folding. i know someone thats the same way. if something doesnt go his way, he immediately goes looking for reasons why they didnt and if he cant find one he blames others input/personality/ability/etc.

Funny, I just got a collection call while I was reading some comments here. Saw the 888 number and recognized it for the bs that it was and refused the call... and that leads me into what I was going to suggest anyway.

Ignore him. Block him. If you have to, ban him. But don't try to reason with him. He sounds just like a collection caller, not willing to listen to anything you say except "I'm ready to obey you now." That kind of bullshit shouldn't fly anywhere in the world, but at least here on IB you have a lot of options that you don't have in a lot of other places.

I say, make a black list and put this guy in spot one. What an entitled brat! You're spending your time drawing for free, you get to choose what you do and don't do. If he wanted something that bad, he needs to open his wallet. (Though, I suggest never accepting a commission from him either after that.) Also, block list is your friend for people like these. Block him, ignore him, and maybe even file a trouble ticket about him. I'm sure you're not the only one having an issue with this guy.

I sent you over 20 requests and none of them are even done yet. If you don't finish them by the end of this week I'm gonna throw a fucking tantrum. Fuck everyone else's requests. I'll have you know I'm the centre of the fucking universe, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on Fur Affinity, and I have over 300 finished requests. I am trained in touch typing and I’m the top drama llama in the entire fandom. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will request you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with ignoring me over the Internet? Think again, little furry. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of popufur artists across the fandom to rant about your selfishness so you better prepare for the fucking storm. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your message box. I can request any where, any time, any place, and I can make requests to you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my Dell keyboard. Not only am I extensively trained in touch typing, but I have access to an entire arsenal of reference sheets and descriptions made for me by other artists and I will use it to its full extent to fill your inbox off the face of the continent. then people ask me why I ceased with requests long long ago, even when you gift people are, they still feel entitled for anything. as a friend that works with graphic design says: "never do for free what you do for money" - it's kinda sad how some people can be.

I dunno about all that. I'm a programmer by trade. The IB downloader I offer for free would have cost about $1,000 for my time so far. I don't regret it, and most times people are pretty constructive and understanding.

If someone bugs you like that, just block them and call it a day. There's always gonna be idiots out there.

It doesn't means I wont ever take a request or draw giftart, I do the later quite often, just means it baffles me really hard whenever I see people complaining of a "gift" or something they got for free, so to say, which makes me only try to be nice to people who are nice to me, i.e. friends :3

I believe that the person doesn't deserve artwork.
Simply because an artist should have a right to draw whoever they want if it is FREE.
Not only that, they deserve a little respect. You are drawing something as a request! Not commissioned.
Not art trade. A request. They prove themselves to be a childish person and I would actually appreciate if you note me the name so I will never do business with this person.
I won't name anyone out, I just want a personal blacklist.

life is too short to worry about dumb shit.
i never asked anyone for a drawing, and usually, i dont get one. sometimes someone feels like surprising me, and thank you to them, but hey, if you are gonna be mad cause someone else doesnt draw you, your pedestal may be getting too high.
just have fun.
