A squirrel's passing.

by
I had previously mentioned that a young (19 year old) squirrel girl from FA, tarrot , was suffering from an inoperable aneurysm in her brain.

This morning, posted on her shouts (before it scrolls off), by green_fox

" Dear watchers, I am really really sad to inform you that Mint passed away last week. The surgery didn't work as planned. Please keep her in your thoughts and memory. Thank you

I had just posted this shout (a rare public posting by me on FA):

" May our paths cross in another life. I'm glad I made you smile before you passed on, hun.

And thank you for making me smile. :)

RIP.

*nod* No-one that young should have to suffer as she did. :(

I'm so sorry to hear about that. I'll go pay my respect by visiting her page on FA and look through her stuff as I've never seen her art before. She sounded like a unique person.

Not an artist, but someone with an interesting-enough fursona, with a perky, peppy personality, and a sense of humour (much like mine, with more than a hint of naughtiness) that managed to get a few pics of her commissioned or gifted to her.

It's that personality that caught my attention. Her plight I felt. Her loss has affected me, because I know what it's like to (almost) lose someone to an aneurysm (my mother).

I'm glad I had the chance to say goodbye, even though I had only had just discovered her.

It was the above-linked pic of her that caught my attention.

That's how I'll remember her- as a silly squirrel, since that's all I knew of her.

That's very sad. At least it was quick, though.
