Guys seriously, If you are running Win7, click start, search for "Create a System Repair Disc", and make one.
Today my computer crashed for no reason, and gave me the error "BOOTMGR is missing" I feared it was the new RAM I installed, so I ran a RAM test, but that was clear. The fix is automatic if you have made that disc. I never made one because I thought the installation CD could do it. I was wrong, but luckily, I have not yet sold my laptop, so I was able to make a repair disc from there and fix the problem.
I am a little concerned that maybe my OS HDD is going bad, but I was not transferring to or from it during the crash.
