Due to literally no one wanting anything written by me (and let's face it, that's no surprise), I acquired a copy of an old racing game I used to have that I had an old project centered around. It was originally called "Rover Racing", since I started it back when I was in the Road Rovers fandom exclusively. When I left that fandom and became part of the general furry fandom, I switched the name to "Fur Racing". It's gone through several different versions with different game versions, but always with the Sierra/Papyrus ones. It started with NASCAR Racing: 1999 Edition (which was actually never meant to be a release; long story), then moved on to NASCAR Racing 3, NASCAR Racing 4, NASCAR Racing 2002 Season, and finally NASCAR Racing 2003 Season, which is what I'm using now. Yeah, it's a decade old, but it still looks great, and it's the most realistic racing sim game around.
What is it? Honestly, just something for me to kill time with. I basically create a custom paint job for people's characters, assign driving skills and attributes to them, then race them against each other on various circuits, including several NON-NASCAR circuits, like the dreaded Nürburgring (c.1970) in Germany. Think of it as an e-peen competition for whose character is the best driver. :P
I used to participate in a few things like that. Someone on a muck of mine put us all into Hardball 6.0 for something like that, then reported on the games. Well, dunno if I'd call it participate per se, but you know what I mean.
