So there's one thing I've been thinking about this time of year. Today I turn 24, got a good life going, some good opportunities starting to pop up, but birthdays just seem to become a bit pointless. I'm involved in enough shenanigans with my friends throughout the year that my birthday just seems like another day, nothing special. Granted it's partly because at 24 most of the "major milestones" have passed, but I don't really feel inclined to get excited about it besides the fact I'll come into a bit of extra spending money.
By no means is this a bad thing, I'm just more like "Hey it's my birthday. Meh, I'ma go do my usual thing."
So how is it for everyone else? Still getting that birthday spark, or as you get older do you seem to just kinda let it slide by you?
Also, I am thankful for one thing; that my birthday lands on International Talk Like A Pirate Day. YARRRRR!
