Poor Fur Affinity

Well ill be mostly on here for a while. FA is up but its at a snails pace. i read there forums and they said that everything is on the temp replacement server. so the site is back up, problem is its running at a snails pace. they also gave no assurance on the forums that the server they need to get the site running normal again will be repaired or replaced any time soon ether. so instead of punching my monitor over not being able to post anything or clear out my messages, i rather just post only here for a while. poor fa, i know a lot of yall on here don't like it but i do. at least for the fact that several of my favorite artists work on it and i get half of my commissions and fans through it as well. oh well, just means more sexy stuff for yall :P

tons. i just wish the guy would take the time to really upgrade the site properly. i would post my stuff up on other sites but i can be so lazy sometimes. speaking of which, what are some other good sites to post work on that's getting a lot of traffic. I'm on here, FA, and e621

like 70% of Furries do saddly... its not that the place suck (it dose some times) but its getting like
old that it like crash every like 4 times a year... its kinda like tradition unless they change that
crappy coding.

I was kicked from FA due to cub art. My account is still alive but most of my artwork is removed by admin.

I had a rule enforced on me at FA that... wasn't really a rule. No discussion, just "Rawr, you fucked up, so mod punish you. MOD-PUNCH!" >.> So I no post there at all.

Eh, I still think it's a convenient distraction from all the journals blasting FA admins for their recent ban on Sonic art "because the canon Sonic storyline has them as kids so therefore any and all Sonic porn regardless of age is cub porn." Idiotic decision is idiotic, and a lot of people were calling them out on it just as the site went down. Coincidence? Conspiracy? Stupidity?

Inquiring minds want to know... and probably never will. XP

To be quite frank, I'm starting to like Fur Affinity less and less. With all their stupid rules that they come up with (granted, some of the rules people deem stupid actually make sense) and the sudden database errors. How many times has the site gone down this year? 2 or 3? Shouldn't happen so often with a site as popular as it is. I've not really had issues with the mods, but I know they do some rather... tyrannical things. Granted people make bad calls when given administrative powers, but if you moderate a site, you need to have a book'o rules with when on the job. There shouldn't be any issues about enforcing rules that are posted on the site for all to see. If you are punishing someone for breaking a rule you need to state the rule exactly and where its posted. None of this pulling-rules-out-of-our-asses crap. (haha, I made a funny.)

I'm starting to agree. after hearing the stuff about the ban of all sonic art, ive pretty much lost a lot of respect for them. before you know it, why not just ban anything that looks under 18. MLP art, WB characters like the animaniacs, almost all Disney characters, hell, lets just ban any pictures that have characters under 5 feet tall, that should work. yeah... sounds like FA is being run really well..

all they need is to update coding... yea poor FA
and poor me i do update stuff there every week
in my journal and my art.
