PSP, anyone?

Does anyone out there have a PSP that you don't want? Even if it's in bad shape, I'll take it. Specifically, I'd prefer to get a 2000 model, but I think a 1000 model will do just as well. If you don't know which is which: The 1000 model has a switch on the top that says "OPEN". The 2000 model has a switch in the same position but it says "WLAN". There's also a 3000 model, which has a small hole next to the volume control.

No real hurry to get it, so just reply here or PM me if you have one you're willing to give or sell.

lol I have a bricked one that I can't use anymore, but seriously I am in the same boat as you, I'd very much love to have a working PSP 1000 or 2000 because I looked hard and couldn't find anywhere one in good condition a year ago, I miss playing PS1 games on the go!

I liked the DS more tbh which is why I didn't bother looking harder, mostly because Sonic games sucked on the PSP while they were awesome on DS, but the PSP did have many great games and features, I liked Megaman games on PSP especially Megaman Powered Up, wish if Capcom would release it on other consoles, also Namco Museum on PSP was the best I ever played, the emulators were great too far better than the ones on DS especially the SEGA CD and PS1 emulators, a lot better than the ones on Wii if I may add, almost perfect... *sigh* I miss my PSP!

Also, how is it bricked? Is it physically broken, or is it a firmware issue?

Firmware issue, I got the black screen of death!

If you still have it, I might be able to fix it.

I do but how are you gonna fix it? O.o

Same way I fixed my last one. I have a "service mode" kit, and it can usually restore any PSP that has a firmware issue.

Does it make any difference that I had my PSP modded when it was working before it bricked?

Not a problem. In fact, that may make it easier.

I see... You're giving me hope again, alright then what should I do?

Look for something called Pandora's Battery, that's one of two things you'll need to make it work.

Oh if it's a hardware then I'm out of luck, I don't think they sell these things anywhere here anymore!

I have a 1000 model, but I'm pretty sure is FUBAR. It has been collecting dust in a drawer since smart phones made it obsolete for all my needs.
