It isn't often that I feel the need to...

...pimp out a game. But my GOD if you have an Xbox...get Dust, an Elysian Tail...now. It's just such a good, fun game.

I won't go on and on and on about it becuase I don't wanna spoil it, but at the very least, I'll say this. The game brings back what was always so good about gaming. Platforming, done well. The game handles smoothly, and as you'd usually expect, you'd learn abilities that greatly help you in the platforming. RPG elements, where you do gain experience and levels, increasing your stats and such, that's also done pretty smoothly. Not to mention it's actiony aspects, where you can master Dust's combos and skills, just to make it that much better. It's got that nice Metroidvania feel to it as well, going through your maps and stuff. It's...just really fun gameplay wise.

In the meanwhile, the visuals, purely beautiful. It's...crazy. Every single aspect of the game was just done with such a beautiful, artistic flair, the enemies, the environment, hell, even your own swings with your sword and Fidgit's various abilities turn out to just add to the marvelous beauty that is Dust: An Elysian Tail.

Voice acting in the game was great. Each character does quite well properly convey emotions, and even though I've never heard of any of them, they are just all so skilled. They fit the characters quite nicely, and in truth, I really hope to be hearing from them again.

For a game worth 1200 Microsoft points (15 bucks), it's just...so good, and definitely so worth it. No, it's not very long, but it's just...so good. 5/5 plain and simple...and I can't wait for more of this saga to actually continue, if it does.

If you have an Xbox, get it. Especially, well, it's a very good game. Not just a good furry game, but a good game in general. I suggest to get it, nao.

That, too! Just shows what happens when you know what you're doing actually pays off.

I only played the demo, but I plan to get it first thing next month...The only thing I can say, besides agreeing that the art is downright beautiful, is that Fidget downright gave me diabetes~

Trust me, she gets MUCH more adorable during gameplay. Especially how...aware she is.

Not much of a spoiler, but this is one of my favorite lines. "If you're not much of a fighter, then I suggest you stay back. I mean, do you see him when he fights!? He's like "Swish, zoooosh!" all over the screen!"

I would...but my next 1200 is destined for the new Alan Wake game...I've been putting that one off too long already.

Whelp, this makes three games I'd buy an Xbox to play. Kinda frustrating that two of them are XBLA titles that could easily be ported to the PC >_>

Make that 4....Shadow Complex is a ridiculously fun game, too.

S'cuz I'm a huge fan of the Metroid series up until Prime 2 - I still replay Super Metroid on a frequent basis :3

A game I really, really, REALLY have always wanted to experience. I say that because playing it on an emulator...just won't give it justice. I'm praying it'll show up on the Virtual Console on the 3DS

If you're playing it in emulator form, there's quite a few fan-made hacks that are fantastic additions to the series - especially the ones made by DMantra - he did Cliffhanger and Eris.

As far as the original, I know they have it on Wii virtual console o_O I've owned my SNES copy since 1994, so I dunno any reproductions.

It reminds me of Muramasa mixed with a bit of Castlevania SOTN. Too bad I'll never get to play it because I'm done supporting Xbox after they screwed me over. =/
