Yay, finally got new tires on my car. Hitting the drag strip tomorrow... or today... possibly yesterday depending on when the reader is reading this journal if anyone does.

Had to sell one of my laptops to do it =(. But having a usable car is much more important then having a spare laptop, even if the POS thing was the newest computer in my possession. For those wondering what kind of PC to get, trying to figure out what to get. Take it from me...

Got it less then a year ago, it's slow as hell, and has already crapped out on me. I recommend either Toshiba, (which is the laptop I'm using to type this with) or get an Asus. My toshiba is just over 6 years old, I try to keep it clean but no telling how many trojans my anti-virus/spyware/malware programs have missed, or the viruses, keyloggers and other little nasty things is on here. Ya it is slow, but for being my oldest computer it is my most dependable. The asus is great, it's almost 5 years old and is better then a 900 dollar desktop from best buy. Has the same ram, quad core, memory. I did upgrade the graphics card and power supply, other then that it is stock.

So ya, Asus or Toshiba is the way to go. Unless you are wanting a work computer, then it's an Apple all the way. PC better for games then Apple, Apple better for work then PC.
