Most Valuable Fan 2013! (Please Read)

Many of you have noticed CharlieG's comments on my pictures. He is my MVF 2012. Now the question is, who wants to be my MVF for 2013? I am thinking of holding an auction for the position, in $5.00 (US) increments, with bonuses for certain benchmarks.

The MVF gets to have my work emailed to them and have 24 hours to reply with a quip or quote about the art before I post it to the general public. This means getting first dibs on that snarky remark you always think of just seconds after someone else posts it. And if the bidding goes over $1000.00 the winner will get to have their comments spoken by an icon of their face down by my signature, right on the picture.

Does this sound like something you guys would be interested in?

over 1000usd? for a comment..... thts a bit much dont you think.
if somebody pays one grand just to have a comment posted on a page before anyone esle

No no, the $1000.00 USD is to have your comment in the image, as opposed to in the comment's field. I don't expect it to get that high. But if I have to draw your fursona's face in every image I do for a whole year, that's a lot of work, I want my money's worth for that.

I really don't like that idea, as imo, it'd kinda ruin the image to have someone's else face snarking on it.

Yeah that would kinda suck.

Imagine the worst case, and it ends up >$1000 but to be someone who's face icon looks dump (although you'd at least have some control of making it look better, considering your skills) and whose remarks and comment are even dumber, but you'd have to put it on, just because he happened to be richer than any more witty competitor. - for a whole year!
Imagine the whole crowd of watchers just buh-ing the 101 idiotic remark that you were forced to put there with any new submission!

I mean, think of what kinda people would spend more than $ 1000 just to have your comments published on your favorite artist - how desperate must one be? ;)

Would that be worth one grand? I guess, if you need it that badly, sacrifices have to be made.

But honestly, I wouldn't want MY alter ego grinning stoopilky on every art of yours, it would totally ruin it. Luckily there is no risk of that because I don't have a grand to begin with ;)

That being said, CharlieG's comments aren't that horrible. I just didn't realize just how lucky we are. :)

You don't have to keep redrawing it, you draw it once with a transparent background, then layer it in in a photo editor once you finish the art.
Easy peasy.

Now make it cheaper :3

I was just asking about interest, I hadn't decided when it would be, but it seems that people are either not interested, or too bitter about the prize for the small possibility of someone paying more than $1000.00.

We'll because I don't know what your normal donations look like, I can't say that $1000 is out of the ordinary. I believe you where just being hypothetical about it, that shouldn't've ruffled peoples feathers. If is just if. As the saying goes "If a frog had wings it wouldn't bump it's ass when it jumps."
