am i the only one who's having problems browsing FA?

I have not been much active on there because it seems way too slow, when i go to a page or something, it's always taking forever, like over 5 minutes & more, & it give alot of erros too, erm i'm not sure how there are alot of people submitting pictures there, that's weird, i want to know if i'm the only one?

since i tried cleaning out my browser data & everything, other sites are opening normally

Nope. Its down to a crawl now for me and all my friends there too. Not to mention the new commenting rules make it even slower.

It is now preset where you cannot comment within ten seconds of another comment and so many comments within a ten minute period. Charem's  Journal on FA shows screenshots of the warnings. I answer hundreds of comments on FA daily it really is annoying.

the ten second limit thing is indeed annoying, even though i don't reply much but i really hate it, the site is really getting worse to be honest, i didn't really mind the new features, like hiding favorites or from guests but this? it's screwing the site really

It seems to happen right after new features are introduced. I do not like the hide favs feature since that is how I find new artists by checking other people's favs. I checked their forums and seems they having server issues http://forums.furaffinity.net/threads/123507-No-slow-r...

Me neitherm i don't like it in general for that matter
i would say the only good thing about hiding favorites is if you don't want anyone stalking you

yeah i have just checked that topic awhile ago, most new features were useless or not that much important in my opinion, i hope they won't take a month this time, i also checked this http://forums.furaffinity.net/threads/123390-Site-stil... seems like FA is having a huge issue this time

ugh me too, not that, everything but that.

FA actually started getting slow for me since 5 days, it's probably going to stay like this for long *sigh*

About that time for me too. Sadly I deal with these issues at my job. Does take time to find and then fix it.

FA better take down the useless features like hiding from guests or favorites, the site in my opinion needs a better optimization overall, inkbunny even loads faster as well as dA

I like the hiding guests part. Now one of my Exmates cannot see my account and refuses ot make an account. That has its perks.

They were supposed to do an overhaul back in 2011. But I think it got cancelled due to costs. Running a site as big as FA is expensive.

i would pay a real money so badly if we could make FA a better site, i guess i personally don't like the hide guests part but it's not really a big deal, & yeah i remember about the delays, not surprising to see they are slow at updating though, i do know that it costs but there is one feature i don't understand why they can't improve it, submitting bigger canvas sizes. in inkbunny you don't have to worry about it but in FA it shrinks your picture which causes you to lose the quality so you better have to resize it yourself (though howver i always do that yet it says the site has shrinked the picture which caused to lose it's quality, very annoying)

maybe during years, IB would come a better place than FA though who knows? i doubt it haha

IF I had the money to spare I would pay too. As for the resize its to control server space taken up. IB does this as well automatically but saves the big file in a Cache only accessed when needed. I guess I see it differently since I deal with servers and databases all the times and know how the coding works.

You never know. there was a time when DA was better than FA to me. That changed quickly. Took me a while to openly branch out here too. But I like IB "no humans" rule the best.

yes i can understand this, but i think it's a time for FA to make a better site, it's still been the same FA for years over & over again.


i see, hmm well humans are oaky for me, i actually enjoy them but wait does, ink Bunny never allow any kind of human art to be submitted here?

oh it just says they are allowed as long as they don't get involved into sexual situations which is okay for me since i never watch human porn

It's lagged when I tried to nuke my submissions then when was going to nuke them again, due to the 3000 nuke limit.
