More dreams to share. Nothing sexy though.

Last night I had two rather interesting dreams I felt like sharing. Earlier this year my place was struck with a series of floods, one right after the other. No water got in the house, thankfully, but the last one looked like it was going to. Water was coming up underneath the house, and as I was calling my step-dad to boat me out of here, some rather pissed off fire-ants escaping the waters decided to take out their frustrations on me.

So my first dream takes me back to that day, watching the water spilling over the bank and underneath the house, but this time, I was one of the ants. I don't remember much other than that.

In my second dream, my Granny is teaching me how to churn butter or something. I looked over at a picnic table and saw this rather odd creature. It was like a cross between a bunny and a rat, but not quite as cute as I would expect that kinda hybrid to be. Looked more like a bizarre mutation. It wasn't afraid of me, so I just stood there watching, trying to get a better idea what the hell it was, when it suddenly leaped off the table and latched onto my hand.

I somehow figured it would only make it worse to try and pry it off, so my response was to freeze and politely ask it to "please let go." That seemed to do it, but the little fucker wasn't done there. It jumped onto a chair and looked like it was about to lunge at me again, so I took a step back, telling it that if it tried to bite me again, I would punt the hell out of it. It seemed to understand me and backed off, but it wasn't over.

It then decided to try to be sneaky about it, and aim for my ankles from behind. It lunged once, missed, and I stepped back, and as it was still coming, so I grabbed a thick wooden plank and swung it down towards the creature. It dodged the plank and slipped back under the chair, looking up at me with an expression that I can only describe as shocked and hurt, which made me feel terrible. That's when I woke up.

Those are the kind of dreams that slow me down when I try to move fast...

Say "Thank you The Universe!" XD
