I remember ask some imageboards owners to remove my work
in the most polite way and even offering a donation and our services
for free... you will not believe how inmature are
some site's owner.

Still.. i like Jack Danields attitude :D

Lynchburg itself is, sadly, dry. There IS a secret society of the friends of Jack Daniel's- the Tennessee Squires. I'm a second generation squire; my son became a squire while he was stationed in Iraq.

Dude! Jack Daniels is my new favorite hard drink company. This is the perfect diplomatic act, and even better than that! They actually went well out of their way to make things right for everyone!

Also, I don't need to tell you this, but people on the internet are not major corporations, thus have no real concern about their "public image." A lot of people are real dicks about the most simple things. But then you encounter someone who actually gives a rat's ass about their site and reputation on a whole. It may come as a surprise, but the original Encyclopedia Dramatica was actually like that; so long as you were nice, they were nice. ... which is more than I can say for the cockstains that run the false ".ch" off-shoot. Oh well. Change of hands and all that.

this is what you get when people have a mutual respect for each other. JD treating this like talking to a long time friend, no rage, no threat of legal action. just could you change it? we'll help with cost. Daniels has earned something you can't buy and that's respect.

As for your situation; some people just can't stand that they're wrong even if you're nice about telling them. It's really a shame.
