I've been getting back into Street Fighter after almost 10 years of vowing off fighting games. I had a friend once who always made me feel miserable when playing Killer Instinct that I ended up developing a mental psychosis that just brings out the worst of me when playing fighting games. I've gotten over it though and have been enjoying Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition after buying it on sale on steam. While I'm getting better at the game I am currently looking for friendly sparing partners to play with. While playing online can be fun, it's usually better to play with someone you know so it doesn't feel personal. If you have this game and you're interested, PM me and I can give ya my Steam account name or gamer tag (Since it is a windows live game).
Don't worry though, the game isn't going to distract me from working on my own game ideas. It's actually a bit therapeutic to play around with this game to get a little bit of the stress off from school work and other life things.
I also went to see the new batman movie yesterday, and it was pretty good. It seems the tragedy in Colorado seems to be overshadowing the movie though. Before you say anything, I am hurt by this tragedy but most of my conversations lately have been geared towards politics. It seems when a tragedy like this happens the liberals come forward and scream more gun control, laws, and regulations, and then the conservatives come forward and blame the gays and atheists for living in the country forcing god to allow this tragedy. I don't want to look at it like that. This was a horrible tragedy and I hope for the best those who were affected by it. I'm just going to leave it at that.
The Dark Knight Rises was good, but it didn't surpass the awesomeness of "The Dark Knight." Part of me kind of knew that this would happen when I walked into the midnight screening. I was all hyped up and my expectations were high, even though i wasn't trying to get them that high and attempted to keep an open mind. It was a good movie though and a good way to end a trilogy, for those who haven't seen it don't go in with super high expectations and you'll enjoy it just fine. The only part that really bothered me was the voice of Bane. He sounds like Sean Connery through the whole movie, I kept expecting him to say something about Batman's mom. Anyone else see the new movie yet?
