Ey there kiddos!
So I've been in and out of the online game these past couple weeks. Mostly out! In fact, almost exclusively out.
I'm still around, I check in briefly every few days mostly to keep my inbox cleaned up.
Work's been nuts, it's always nuts. You're either working 15 hours a week, or 60, and you never know which it's gonna be. It's like a present! Colorfully wrapped in sparkly glitter paper, and what's inside is a surprise every day! And the surprise is always horrible! Like sticking your dick in a box of mouse traps, or enjoying a delightful soup you quickly learn to be made of muriatic acid, or finding out that you've been in a coma for 20 years and everything you know and love has been a figment made up by your slumbering mind to keep it from going insane within the confines of your skull!
But there's no need to dwell on that shit! DO NOT DWELL ON THAT SHIT.
Just gotta keep on going and never stop going. No sense in that "stopping" nonsense! No use! No purpose! MUST. DRIVE. EVER. ONWARD.
Eh, speaking of driving (good segue, I'm a genius!), I've also been working on my car since... well, since I got in in October. I'm no gear head, but I know how to turn a wrench well enough. I always wanted something nice, y'know? I never have nice things. I'm a raccoon-person. I find shit, or fix shit, or otherwise make shit work, and that's the shit I got. It ain't glamorous, but it's all mine!
Well, someone shoulda told me that if you want nice things, you like.... gotta go and pay for nice things. Not buy some 800$ clunker with a locked up motor and just.... sigh.... DO YOUR BEST.
On the plus side, Hell, I paid well under the asking price for it, and it's a newer model American Classic, can't complain.
On the down side.... so far? Got the motor unlocked early on and replaced an assload of parts and it.... still doesn't run right.
It looks good though! Got the body pulled apart and resprayed the whole thing, flash new seats and a hood and all kindsa neat shit.
Now, if it ran like it looks, that'd be nice.
So.... All this to say, basically, in a nutshell, TL;DR version,
Shit's been wacky round here, yo. Honestly, for months. And here lately, I just ain't been able to keep up with it all at once. Sometime ya just get tired.
But you never stop.
